Haya hugging Murtasim without his consent isn't that sexual assault?

I know what people are thinking Murtasim deserves this because he himself blurred the boundaries with Behaya by saying cousin touches are OK, BUT HE NEVER consented to this hug. And blaming him is like victim shaming him, isn't that what society does to a woman. She shouldn't have been out late that is why she got assaulted, she shouldn't have worn that dress that is why men were ogling her, she shouldn't have gotten drunk at that party that is why she got raped excuses excuses excuses we here all the times in the media and anyone that asks first what did she do to deserve it. Murtasim should have known Meerab's touch and scent yes he made a mistake, just like woman must take necessary precautions it is a dangerous world but what if we make a mistake does that mean we should get assaulted in return as punishment.

Reverse the genders imagine if Sasta Salman hugged Meerab without her consent, would we blame her, shame her or defend her. SN coercion to get Meerab in his car, deceiving her by saying she is taking her to a cafe but instead taking her to his place that is kidnapping, snatching away her phone and when she was in SN flat touching her multiple times without her consent it was all predatory behaviour. I stood by Meerab woman solidarity and all, but predatory behaviour sees no gender.

The eye check up scene between Murtasim and Witch was another assault scene. Anytime you fake sincerity to trick the other person into touching you that is sexual harassment. Yes Murtasim allows it because he is acting like an older brother, but the other party is not acting like his sister and any touch where intentions differ between two parties is basis for assault. Just like how a male boss can give a harmless congratulatory pat on a female employee's back as a gesture of good job I am proud of you, but if he had other intentions when he touched her then he just assaulted her even if she wasn't fully aware of it.

What is wrong for a woman is also wrong for a man. I know this will not be addressed in TB, this show is not about societal topics, but more importantly Murtasim is an alpha dog to even remotely suggest that a woman jumped him is like making fun of his alphaness and well we can't have that. Which is such toxic mentality, a man can cry he can get vulnerable too, he can also get tricked by an evil woman and if she violates his personal space THEN THAT IS A BIG DEAL, and this takes nothing away from him being a macho man. Men get raped and assaulted as well but they don't admit to such things and we don't prosecute such cases because society mocks such men for not being man enough.

Murtu thought it was his wife who was hugging him coz it is THEIR BEDROOM. So him reciprocating the hug is not wrong as he was only having meerub in his mind. His intentions were good.

About not understanding who touched him - he was yearning for meerub's love all this time. When she came back, he must have gotten his hopes high. So when he was hugged, he was lost in it to even notice it was not his wife.

In E12, after meerub hugs him in the dark, he gets his hopes high thinking that he would be allowed to sit on the bed. His hope never falters about meerub loving him. So that's why he says "Mujhe pata tha ki tum ek din mere kareeb aaogi" in this promo.

Who in the right mind would enter a room of a couple at night without their permission and then hug the man. This was an unexpected move by Haya. Murtu would have never anticipated something like this. Here he is the victim

According to him, he has set his boundaries with her but for us viewers, it looks like, it's not harsh enough to stop Haya. So he will learn a lesson after this and hopefully be more strict with Haya.

Even MZ is better than Haya.

Am I the only one who is not worried about Haya hugging Murtasim from back...she is a b** she does that to irritate Meerub..even in promo I think she saw or knew Meerub coming hence came running and hugged him..and that idiot is being happy bcoz he is thinking ohh wow after all the kaand Meerub is back and hugging me😁..I know it's not the right way but eventually Meerub is going to confess after this as this is the required push she needed ..

It’s not about character willingness or ability to knock H , it’s to move the plot they have chooses H. This is bad bad writing nothing else to read. They chose to dumb down both leads just so she can stay in house and plot! Else pray tell me why oh why would any women will bring back H after she almost kills her and why would anyone in family even support the idea ? Given she is not even their own blood! Mariyam gettin leverage over Meerub is acceptable and bitter truth of this society but an orphan raised in family getting leverage over daughter in law is plain drama and bad writing!
