Which is such toxic mentality, a man can cry he can get vulnerable too, he can also get tricked by an evil woman and if she violates his personal space THEN THAT IS A BIG DEAL, and this takes nothing away from him being a macho man. Men get raped and assaulted as well but they don't admit to such things and we don't prosecute such cases because society mocks such men for not being man enough.

He gave so much unnecessary leeway to haya like giving consent for her to sit on his bed, feed him, touch his hand whenever she needs with the justification that cousin hai, hath pakad ne se kya hoga.

Still a no is a no. What he is facing is harassment. More than him, his wife facing mental harassment from haya.

But sadly writers never acknowledge this. We can sympathise with murtasim if he feels disgusted by haya actions, puts a full stop to her instead of acting like meerab misunderstanding, there is no fault of haya like he did in village scene.
