Here we all made castles that he will tadofy Meerub in that dress but nada the poison had to spread her venom everywhere!

No mercy at all!

NM keeps on ruining things and moments for us 😡

TB was supposed to be a lovestory but we hardly see the main leads or their love story or even story for that matter.

Back hug gone, tadna gone, hand chemistry scarred, what is left 😑

Haya hugging Murtasim without his consent isn't that sexual assault?

Physical advances are termed sexual assault and include many types of actions including; intentionally grabbing or touching you in a way that you do not like, forcing you to touch them in any fashion, forcibly hugging or kissing you, and other unwanted physical contact.

I know what people are thinking Murtasim deserves this because he himself blurred the boundaries with Behaya by saying cousin touches are OK, BUT HE NEVER consented to this hug. And blaming him is like victim shaming him, isn't that what society does to a woman. She shouldn't have been out late that is why she got assaulted, she shouldn't have worn that dress that is why men were ogling her, she shouldn't have gotten drunk at that party that is why she got raped excuses excuses excuses we here all the times in the media and anyone that asks first what did she do to deserve it. Murtasim should have known Meerab's touch and scent yes he made a mistake, just like woman must take necessary precautions it is a dangerous world but what if we make a mistake does that mean we should get assaulted in return as punishment.

Reverse the genders imagine if Sasta Salman hugged Meerab without her consent, would we blame her, shame her or defend her. SN coercion to get Meerab in his car, deceiving her by saying she is taking her to a cafe but instead taking her to his place instead that is kidnapping, snatching away her phone and when she was in SN flat all the times touching her without her consent was all predatory behaviour. I stood by Meerab woman solidarity and all, but predatory behaviour sees no gender.

The eye check up scene between Murtasim and Witch was another assault scene. Anytime you fake sincerity to trick the other person into touching you that is sexual harassment. Yes Murtasim allows it because he is acting like an older brother, but the other party is not acting like his sister and any touch where intentions differ between two parties is basis for assault. Just like how a male boss can give a harmless congratulatory pat on a female employee's back as a gesture of good job I am proud of you, but if he had other intentions when he touched her then he just assaulted her even if she wasn't full aware of it.

What is wrong for a woman is also wrong for a man. I know this will not be addressed in TB, this show is not about societal topics, but more importantly Murtasim is an alpha dog to even remotely suggest that a woman jumped him is like making fun of his alphaness and well we can't have that. Which is such toxic mentality, a man can cry he can get vulnerable too, he can also get tricked by an evil woman and if she violates his personal space THEN THAT IS A BIG DEAL, and this takes nothing away from him being a macho man. Men get raped and assaulted as well but they don't admit to such things and we don't prosecute such cases because society mocks such men for not being man enough.

I mentioned in previous page.

Murtasim is completely wrong in not setting up boundaries.

But it doesn't mean he deserves to get harassed.

Sadly writer doesn't show him thinking he is getting harassed.

Despite everything, he still shown thinking haya is just ziddi. Then what can we say😐

He gave so much unnecessary leeway to haya like giving consent for her to sit on his bed, feed him, touch his hand whenever she needs with the justification that cousin hai, hath pakad ne se kya hoga.

Still a no is a no. What he is facing is harassment. More than him, his wife facing mental harassment from haya.

But sadly writers never acknowledge this. We can sympathise with murtasim if he feels disgusted by haya actions, puts a full stop to her instead of acting like meerab misunderstanding, there is no fault of haya like he did in village scene.

Agreed. Thank you for seeing it with different angle than taking it as emotional cheating on his wife.

Facts!!!

@bold in red: exactly.

Yes, MK didn't draw the line but that doesn't mean we blame him for the hug. And clearly, he didn't give his consent.

This is exactly my problem. The writers in their silly whims and fancy of adding masala have introduced so many sensitive topics. Kidnapping, elopement, assault. And now this.

Just because MK is a man it's okay for them to show this? And iss mein bhi somehow they will make Haya "the bechari". Victim shaming 🙏

And sorry to say (not pointing towards anyone here but twitter folks), I saw a lot of people commenting ki "yeh toh hona hi tha. Aur karo sweetly baat." I don't understand what kind of thinking is this.

The rules are same, irrespective of the gender.

Everyone deserves respect, consent is applicable for females as well as males. High time people (incl drama writers) understand this.

I don't think so. Mee wouldn't risk her and her child's life...and/or live in poverty agar complications hote

I thought about gender bias also but I doubt. Murtu is better than that.

But this is 4th time.

What makes you think she'll confess after this? 😳

This is his explanation, justification for haya whenever she crosses her limits

Sadly he doesn't feel he is getting harassed.
