By the way, I waited for a very long time that Gadika would turn out to be the daughter of Nandu or something like that, but everything went into a crappy chess game, where the chess player does not see beyond what she is sitting on)

In one of the new generation episodes that I was still watching, Pihu said: "It's 2023 now."

Me: "What the hell do you mean? You're like in the future, the story started in 2021, you stuffed almost 30 years into a year and a half?! What kind of fantastic dystopia at the minimum?"

Well, I think a lot of NM and DP fans were pretty traumatized by how they chose to end Ram and Priya's story. It was sheer arrogance, thinking bringing in a couple of popular young actors would fix the mess they'd created. It was extremely hard on the new kids, because for every fan of either, there were probably 2 old balh2 fans who wanted the travesty to end. It's almost like 'hai lag gayi'.

I still don't get why. They could've just ended Ram and Priya's balh, then started a new season (like they're doing now). That's what I find arrogant -- doing something so idiotic and unnecessary because you think you know how to manipulate audiences.

@bold, same. I'm actually already dreading what they'll do this season. I think because of og Ram and Priya being so beloved, the expectations are too high, though we've been told the characters aren't the same.

They can tell all they want. Unless EK already had a story which was meant to star NM&DP after I don’t know ages of Balh2 running like her other serials with them, how is it even possible to even bring back season 3? I don’t think EK expected NM & DP to call it quits. She very well knew that Balh 2 was running only because of those two. Every SM called out her writers pathetic writing. So yeah something somewhere is wrong. Again not getting my hopes high. Ek may take her own sweet time to bring in the trp rush as loyal NM fans & DP fans wanted this so badly.

I only wish the gen leap leads get better projects to get past this trauma they survived for 3 months.

@bold - i am no loyal fan but i felt my time watching the show was a waste. It was a pathetic ending.

@red - EK feels she is the Queen who has not been crowned in the tv industry(felt much better in my head & in tamil) and she can do whatever she wants. Whatever EK’s team did with Balh2’s story was stupid. After seeing the gen leap i felt the earlier one was better 🤦🏻‍♀️ so it is always like the grass on the other side is green 😂

I wish they take some time to write the story line and script. Based on how fast the BTS shots are coming out, no hopes there either. Looks like they want to recover from BALH2 failures as quick as they can with no thoughts on quality….
