My main concern is the same team doing S3 i want new team. S2 was a disaster due to them their obsession for Nandini Shubam & Vedika there was no balance and the one i really hate is editing RaYa scenes we were deprived from many good scenes of RaYa due to pathetic editing even their C-night is made like a joke. I hope all these issues are not seen in S3

I felt Heera was related to Nandini, because there was no logic to Nandini's behaviour re Priya vs Heera. Nandini wasn't a stupid woman, so even if she were class conscious, given her pathological desire to safeguard herself, why would she choose Heera? Only made sense if they were connected in some way. Not that Nandini wouldn't disown Heera in a second for her own ends.

As much as Niti is unhappy the show is shutting off(I read her interview) , I am so happy they finally decided to end this torture. Well, I think a lot of NM and DP fans were pretty traumatized by how they chose to end Ram and Priya's story. It was sheer arrogance, thinking bringing in a couple of popular young actors would fix the mess they'd created. It was extremely hard on the new kids, because for every fan of either, there were probably 2 old balh2 fans who wanted the travesty to end. It's almost like 'hai lag gayi'.

I still don't get why. They could've just ended Ram and Priya's balh, then started a new season (like they're doing now). That's what I find arrogant -- doing something so idiotic and unnecessary because you think you know how to manipulate audiences.

@bold, same. I'm actually already dreading what they'll do this season. I think because of og Ram and Priya being so beloved, the expectations are too high, though we've been told the characters aren't the same.

I've not followed actors outside of the show, so I can't comment on NM's philosophy w.r.t this project. @bold: That makes 100% sense, except that for me, once I get drawn into something I find it very difficult to give it up. It was a mammoth task for me to stop watching BALH2 - I stopped following episodes, visiting chidiya or even coming here. Hence, a wait and watch approach for me this time 🤣

Yeah, I find it very weird how everyone sucks up to respects EK. Or maybe it's not so strange, because she probably gives the leads a chance to garner even more popularity before the show goes to hell. And her casting is usually very good. Unfortunately, this mindset contributes to the awful degeneration of storytelling and disregard for audience reactions. While nobody is going to like everything about a show or a track, at least reconsider when people are constantly complaining.

I'm already beginning to dread whatever's coming. I'm already feeling anxious about the leads not meeting expectations fuelled by the early Priya (especially) and Ram. I don't want Nakuul and Disha disappointing everyone because of the hangover of the potential of the previous versions. I already feel bad for DP in anticipation of noxious attacks, as you mentioned earlier.

I plan to see ig clips only. That's how I watched most of balh2 after Heera came to KM and until I stopped bothering about it entirely, save for checking something the forum discussed.

What would they do with an extension, I wonder... :) A 15-day extension would only make sense if the channel needed to fill that slot that much longer.

I'll tell y'all my worst nightmare. It's a fl who's "bubbly" and mahaan and so full of the milk of human blindness that you want to kill yourself (DP kind of already did a version of that, so please spare us). Also a ml who's either Mr. DoGood or Mr. BadBecauseTraumatized (NM's kind of already done that🤣). A flat, boring script, with repeats we've seen over and over, this time without the charm of og balh2.

The older I get, the less tolerance I have. That's why, unlike Dazzling, I rather check it out in the beginning and dump it like yesterday's trash than nurture hopes that a megalomaniacal formula follower will provide anything but eventual disappointment.

I'm reminded of Yashpal. It's kind of the same principle. Expect the worst and maybe it will prepare you for what's coming.
