I just think there was a better way to handle all this. The leap was doomed from the beginning because it was clear that they had no real story or plot.

Disha has confirmed she is returning to BALH3 (Finite series).

Niti said she is returning the show to the original leads, so hoping Nakuul is in too. But still no statement from Nakuul or no promos.

they can scrub the whole leap and just restart from where Ram and Priya left off

It is a new plot, let's hope it runs for a year. I feel one year is a good span for a love story to unfold without memory loss and generation leap.
