Self trolling 🤣
Laughing aside, how can be these women so dumb? Don’t they watch or read anything outside their own interviews?
The top comment is my fav 😆
If Sonam woohoo-ed for me, I'd go back to pre school and restart my education.
🤣
Kareena: I'm a human being
Proof?

Comment section is lit.. Dayumm🔥🤣🤣
This is one hell of a dumb & toxic statement, infact. “I don’t believe in feminism, I believe in equality” gives the same energy as, “I don’t want water, I want H2o.” 😵🤣
Also wtf happened to Sonam?? She’s a self-declared feminist isn’t she!
^ how? Feminism literally means equality.
Woohoo! My bingo card of WTF celeb moments is complete.

I'm going to nerd a bit here because that's what I do, and that's what I am. There have been waves of social feminism and misogyny.
The 70s saw major movements for feminism, women's reproductive rights, women in the workplace, and more. It was the era of Roe, which, although a landmark US case, had repercussions globally.
The 80s saw a conservative backlash where there was a return to conservative values. Society latched onto the AIDS scare and felt society needed to be protected from liberal values of feminism and gay rights.
The 90s saw a post-feminist resurgence of pop-culture feminism. This was the era of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Xena, Ally McBeal, and Charmed. Dana Scully would become a STEM icon. Monica and Rachel became icons, and Sex and the City was launched.
The 00s saw pop-culture misogyny. Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, the Bush twins, and many more were publicly scrutinized on primetime talk shows from a horribly sexist lens.
Then the Me Too movement became a watershed moment that seemed to revive feminism in all aspects of society, highlighting so many layers of sexism in society. It was a leap forward. Loosley simultaneous too MeToo was a girl-boss era where female entrepreneurs were being lauded.
But now there has been a leap backward with Trumpism and a Me Too backlash. Especially since the Depp-Heard case, women now face more unreal scrutiny about every issue they raise. Bros like Andrew Tate and incels are getting legitimate voices and platforms. Looseley, simultaneous to the MeToo backlash, was the fall of the girl boss as they got exposed for fraud and toxic workplaces.
In the down eras, feminism almost becomes a dirty word. It is twisted to denote women trying to one-up men or destroy society with their dominance. In the up eras, the word gets reclaimed to its authentic meaning. Celebrities tend to swing the pendulum based on the era. Sometimes it is purely opportunistic. Sometimes it is organic, and society genuinely shapes people's perspectives. And social zeitgeist really influences celebrities, especially younger celebs. Many celebrities who denied being feminists but claimed to be women who believed in equality later proudly claimed the feminist mantle around MeToo. Some of them, like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, have shared how the Puritan Disney Darling or Country Western American Sweetheart public perception really warps your identity as a teen and young adult that you don't question until later.
But coming to Kareena and Sonam. Sonam is a privileged brat who does 99.99% of things without any deep thinking. Kareena and Saif are both tryhards who want to appear intellectual and often make WTF statements trying to straddle an intellectual status quo.
There was a time I used to strongly believe that the good name of feminism must be reclaimed and everyone must be encouraged to be a feminist. Saying I believe in equality is not enough. But now I am more of; I don't care what you say - what you do is more important. If you claim to be a feminist and stand for feminist causes, but create a toxic environment for women in your business, behave discriminatory toward women of color, or display any problematic behavior - nah, you're not a feminist. But people who say they're not feminists but believe in equality and treat people equally and fairly are palatable. And finally, no one is perfect. Even the best of feminists who do many good things for women will end up doing some WTF thing or another as well.
She is a self declared so many things. Who even takes her seriously! 😆Originally posted by: Mallika-E-Bhais
