I have said it before and now will say it again.

He has not given punishment to anyone because for him, no one is culprit except him.

He has not punished meerab.He has given her freedom.Now meerab is free to decide what she wants.

Freedom to decide what she wants from their relationship. Whether she wants to stay with him or not.

I will say this that we need to stop expecting that only Murtasim will make efforts in their marriage, that he is a God because he is not, we should not jump to conclusions in his case and we should try to understand his feelings like we do with Meerub, if Meerub’s every act can be excused in the name of it being her shield from the pain and trauma, we should give the same treatment to Murtasim as well. He too feels pain, anger and he also gets hurt like every human out there.

I am not saying that his actions were right but I understands where he is coming from.

Well he is the only one who worked for this relationship but after knowing his weakness and his many warnings.meerab did exactly opposite and did not give him or their relationship a priority.So now he is not punishing her.He just wants her to decide what she wants from this relationship and work on it too if she really wants to stay in this relationship.
