Ah, yeah, Barun-Sanaya. I knew about 1 rerun, didn't know about the third round. The craze for them I remember, but it totally passed me by. I do like Barun, though.

I've seen you guys discuss KRPKAB, and tried watching it, but couldn't get past the mom worship. It's so done to death in Indian shows and films, I have very low tolerance.

I doubt there'll be any new team. And I doubt it'd make any difference, because maiyya will always revert to her formula. But it'll still be nice to see DP, and hopefully Nakuul. I remember thinking that laidback as Disha is, chances of her returning soon are too low.

And some folks are like "not actors fault writing is shit". Every ekta show has shit writing. Yhc, bhagyas etc. How they are /use to get /getting numbers with their bakwas writing? Acting matters most chemistry matters. I remember preeran- Karan preeta from kundali bhagya, the leads had sizzling chemistry the moment they made. I have to say this. Recently, I was innocently watching something on hotstar and I caught an ad of an SP show. Acting was PATHETIC. I actually felt embarrassed for the actors, it was so bad. If that's the standard for a show that gets good trps, it's disgraceful. And that alone makes me appreciate the leads in balh2 (I mean Nakuul and Disha, not the new lot).

I think EK did that kid, Niti, and the guy too, a great disservice. First, it was going to always be hard to replace NM and DP. Second, characterization was sooo bad. The Prachi character I only saw once, and she was hell annoying and wishy washy. Guy was mediocre. The Pihu character had spark, and Leenesh came across as likeable, but one viewing of Prachi and I ran for my life, to the extent that I cannot even stand a second of balh clips on insta.

Well the initial 162 episodes were the reason I want to give this one more try and the actors too. More than the actors I liked that we got two shades of leads different from everyone else. We all know how they got lost after few episodes but the original Priya and Ram Kapoor are still memorable.

But if the story is like the one after leap with crying Fl and annoying ML. I might stop after first episode itself. I need something worthwhile to waste my time 🤣
