I can imagine reactions if it was Jaya Bachchan in place of SRK here.

We would have flood of comments calling her budhiya, egoistic, wondering why Amitabh did not divorce her or how Ash tolerates her or why media takes her pics at all.

Just goes on to show how male and female celebs, young and old celebs, own fav vs others are treated differently.

Simple si baat hai. If it was unintentional and accidental his follow up reaction would’ve been different. The fact that he didn’t even blink shows ke his hand was aimed at the right target. 😅

They are actually! To the point, they end up being a bother for others. Last year, a Bengali actress Rituporna was on the same flight as us & these guys who wanted to take selfie were literally blocking the entrance. These irritating fools! I, myself have favourites. But I'd never understand why people act like these people aren't human. Do they have horns or something. While some thinks because they are public figures, they can trear them anyhow they like. For example : just an hour back saw someone Qrted a Korean idol saying "of course he is replying to a korean" to which many asked so what? He's Korean & that's his language. There were huge discussion & that lunatic started to abuse people in her language. I asked her why she's talking in her language & not in English. She said, it's her choice but when I asked then why can't the idol choose to talk in his own language. She said 'coz he's a public figure, so he had to do what others want.

So, the thing is these floks literally seeking validation, attention, something that would make them feel important even if it means harassing others & invading their personal space or dictating over them.

People think since we made them, they owe us their lives.

It’s not about defending the star but it’s about trying to defend our collective self image as a society . We have to learn to normalize the stars and stop worshipping them. You love them, go watch their movie one more time and that’s the most access you should allow yourself of them. The most one should do is smile at a star in acknowledgment and ask them decently for an autograph or something. I know I am being ridiculously impractical in my thinking but I guess a girl can hope for the best right?😆
