Have you meet teenagers in love. Do they really think logically when they are in love? If you tell them the guy/girl that you like is a bad person, do you think they care? Especially if it's their first love. I have had this type conversation with my friends. They only thing they tell me is that "you don't know how I feel", "you don't know what is like to be in love", "you can't control your feeling". No logical argument, it's all about the feelings they have. This is how my friend reacted when she was in a relationship with a person who would cheat, degrade her, call her stupid, break up with her, and when she was about to leave emotionally manipulate her. And she knew all of that and wasted 3 years of her life with this person. Fought with her family for him. At least Anas seems like a nice guy. So I understand how a girl like Maryam can do this. What Meerub is doing is harder to swallow.
Forcefully marrying Maryamis making her more desperate. You can see in the way she is behaving with Meerub. They said she will marry in a couple of days. This is obviously putting pressure on her and she is putting more pressure on Meerub. Which is made their brains stop working and making them think that this is the only way.
They did wrong, but the family isn't right. But the only thing that is being highlighted is that the girls are being stupid and her marrying Naurayz is a perfect solution.
