Omg. This "used to" be my favourite movie as a kid. I just loved Madz-SRK. I wish they had done more films together.

This is literally the only movie I have rewatched multiple times. I usually cannot watch a movie more than once. Exceptions being "Devil Wears Prada" and "Made of Honor".

I love rewatching this movie once in a while. It’s one of my absolute favourites.

madhuri looked so beautiful in this movie but somewhere Manish malhotra did her dirty by giving her ill fitting clothes and some very dull colors. colors can be just the choice but the fitting was just off on so many of her outfits. and that made no sense because madhuri isn't one who was very out of shape or anything. he always dressed sridevi so well....

It’s typical Yash ji creation. You go to the theatre to live a story and you live it right there, with beautiful melodious songs, with dreamy looking heroine, with complete storytelling. I find that SO missing in today’s movies. This used to be the trademark family entertainer movie for which I’d pay and watch a story and forget about everything else for 3 hrs ! I miss that a lot.

I remember being very sad for Nisha, but thank Goodness Ajay saved it in the last scene by asking her if she’s single. ❤️ They’d make perfect couple as well 😆. There wasn’t really anything special to like Rahul, I just loved Pooja and Madhuri in it and I am not even a big Madhuri fan. I love her backstory, her friendship with Ajay and how she deals with the entire thing. She deserved happiness !

My dad is a big YRF fan, and I dont know what was special in this movie, but I remember me eavesdropping my parents’ dinner conversation where he said that night that today he acknowledges SRK can act and he has arrived. I would never forget that validation, felt like a personal victory to 10 yr old me. 🤣

I love the songs but not the film. I was bored

I think Yash Chopra was a firm believer in the law of attraction. Pooja always wanted a love marriage, not an arranged one. People thought she was nuts. Even though love marriages were pretty common back in the day? She does not care and sticks to her beliefs. Wallah, she gets a love marriage. It makes perfect sense. Yashji was trying to tell us nothing is impossible. Just believe. Who cares if everyone thinks you are nuts! 🤷‍♀️

All it had is Amazing Songs and Shahrukh Khan
