So someone else will know Abhir’s secret soon. Who is left?

He may share it with Manjari his mother He usually confides in her when he feels depressed.

Lifted from internet

Meaning of Rumi’s “and” ( for those interested)

If I say, lets be friends : YOU and ME.. Our friendship will depend on that "and" between us. Unseen and unknowable. Something in the middle yet far beyond us. Only this understanding of something 'more' working around us will take away this attitude of "I , ME, MYSELF" away. You and me will then be truly connected.

Let us bow before this power of "and" and say thanks to Rumi for having made us face to face with this powerful word that connects us with everything around.

For so many things happening around us many variables are working. We do not see those connecting dots (Rumi's "and"). We take the continuity as granted. Successful are those who keep a close eye on this connecting dots and align their behaviour accordingly.

No clue what today's episode was about, but loved Abhi-Abhir scenes. Ak is pretty spot on about Abhi being selfish and not being able to maintain his relationships. And yeah, if he doesn't change tactics, Abhir will also be hurt in the near future. But beyond that, no idea what is happening. I understand why Akshnav were angry with Abhi for taking Abhir without informing. But why is Nav repeating everything Ak said and self-glorifying? Why is he so pissed that Abhi said he is not such an AA. And yeah, the pacing is getting super weird.

1. Abhi knows Ak asked Nav to be the father for Abhir. So is he thinking about what this means wrt their relationship? Or he doesn't care about Ak right now cause he is more concerned about Abhir?

2. Abhi also knows Ak is studying law, and today she announced its cause she wanted to be prepared for this. Abhi legit looked so sad that she thinks he is some big villain, and she has to defend herself from him. So either this is to set the stage for custody battle right after surgery or this is for Abhi to back off. Honestly, it seems more like he is going to back off cause otherwise, what is the point of revealing this at this junction?

3. So far, I was okie with Ak marrying Nav cause I really thought she was just trying to provide a complete family for Abhir so he wouldn't have questions about his father. But this is super weird. She asked him for his name, it seems, and since society doesn't accept children without fathers, Abhinav agreed ? I mean, why ???? She could have just named him Abhir Goenka. Why would that be sooo bad? Anyways they made up the name Sharma.

4. Abhinav said that he revealed Abhir's secret to Abhi, so Ak knows that ( she was listening ) and she is not mad at Abhinav ? I am confused cause it wasn't clear when she came, but it seems like she heard the whole conversation. So she is just fine with Nav spilling her biggest secret while drunk?

5. Ak is obviously still very hurt by Abhi, and whatever happened six years ago, why doesn't he just apologize once? Just a single small apology, like the small thank you he had for Nav. He obviously feels guilty cause he shuts up whenever they bring that up, but why can't he apologize?

6. I liked how Ak was still empathetic about Abhi wanting to spend time with Abhir, and she said very clearly that he can come and spend time at Goenka's house whenever he wants to. It does seem like Akshnav want Abhi to be Abhir's docman for life and have a relationship, just not papa, since that would be confusing for a six-year-old. Ak's actual fear is that Abhi is too possessive and selfish to consider such an arrangement and will want Abhir for himself, essentially snatching him from Ak. It's actually a pretty good setup, and I hope Abhi agrees to this and the truth is revealed to Abhir in a mature manner when he is older.

7. Abhi did not even start thinking about legal stuff, it's all in Ak's head, and I feel like she is pushing for it more than anything else. There are better ways to tell Abhi to back off, especially cause this is extremely unsafe for a child.

Bold 1 - society doesn't accept children without fathers - I am so furious at that dialogue by Nav. Our society has progressed enough that children without fathers are not looked down upon and get decent upbringing and treatment in general in society. But what hasn’t progressed is the mindset of writers who write such dialogue. If he had said father’s love (again not a requisite for child’s upbringing) but I would have still understood that a bit and would have digested it, but father’s name!! Sorry this dialogue was better suited in Victorian era!!

Bold 2 - truth is revealed to Abhir in a mature manner when he is older - that actually does more harm than good. It’s breaks the trust between parent and child if truth came out unintentionally in some form and you can’t control all circumstances. Also the Big Bang approach of revealing the truth is never advised in such cases because it is difficult for an individual to comprehend their life, specifically childhood if they get to know these things later in their life. (Personal experience from adoption counsellor). It’s better to tell the child at young age in age-appropriate manner.

OMG please nooo. Not one more person knowing the truth and keeping quite.

At that rate, we could be stuck in limbo for weeks!! Imagine BP, suwarna, Manjiri, Mimi etc all knowing the truth in their own dedicated episode and keeping quite. may be Nishta will finally tell everyone and all will be like we knew already - you knew too?? Comedy episode 🎭

On serious note - I don’t expect or want Abhi to give up Abhir. But if he does please just let Manjiri know 🤞. All hell will break loose.
