I never got how people find this guy handsome. He gives me the creeps the moment i saw him in his bwood movie trailer with bipasha. His makeup is so 'in your face'. I have seen him only in koi Chand rakh and he isn't even that good of an actor either. In that i found muneeb Bhatt to be better looking than him. Atleast he don't look like a walking talking wallcare putti ad😆

Unpopular opinion and somebody may ke kill me too but the fact is I even found Fawad Khan acting to be mediocre... I started watching PTV with good acting male leads like Billu, Ahmed Ali, Wahaj Ali and some decent acting guys like Usama, Ahad, Affan, Muneeb and even I can tolerate Feroze too.. But, then I watched Fawad in Humsafar, I was like yeh banda itna lazy, inactive, and bezaan cheez jaise act kyun kar raha hai... In Dastaan, I completely ignored him to due to excellent acting of Sanam... In ZGH, I kind of connected to Kashaf character....

And Imran Abbas toh pucho mat, When I watched him in a drama with Sana Javed, he gave me such a moody vibes... I didn't find him good looking too... Acting toh bahut durr ki baat hai..

Fawad khan is a good actor but is not versatile or have a huge range. He nails characters were he needs to be intense or romantic but apart from that he isn't that good esp compared to Bilal or Ahmed. Bilal in his 6-7yrs career has done more variety of roles than fawad has done in 15+ yrs. I think fawad is better than wahaj though. If we see wahaj's initial works he is luck to keep getting works till he got to improve himself and become what he is today. Fawad also manages to have intense chemistry with his female co-stars and both his claim to fame dramas humsafar and Zgh were romantic dramas where he needed to be the dreamy eye guy but he can easily get overshadowed by better actors. If i am not wrong Sanam Saeed was relatively new when zgh happened and fawad was already the heartthrob but kasaf Murtaza is bigger than zaroon Junaid and the chemistry they share.

He definitely has the star quality and the larger than life aura that superstars need. His PR team managed to keep that image for him pretty well. Does Mahira and fawad have the same PR team? Their PR work is always in point.

To be a well known leading man in a film industry acting is not the only criteria. there are other factors like screen presence, personality, looks, chemistry, connecting with the audience etc. Look at srk. He isn't the best actor out there but he definitely is the biggest superstar out there. His charm and his personality is way bigger than his acting skills. He has become so big that nowadays people say he isn't a star but an emotion.
