What nobody deserves is to be treated as the crutch in a relationship. And that's true for everyone, even a goddess like Anupamaa maa.

Anupamaa had already told him she doesn't have the space and inclination to make him or anyone a partner in her life. And he had accepted it, what choice did he have....Then why did she herself change her decision later and agree to marry him. Because Dukhmukh prodded her? Does she has no agency of her own? Could have said no to the marriage, could have said no for fostering so soon, could have said no to the countless times her ex and his family tried to manipulate and take advantage of her. Would've, Could've, Should've....but ultimately didn't, so now cry and blame the whole world

It is his fault also for expecting anything at all from her. Wanting to foster immediately without letting their marriage settle down and them understand each other more while living together. She had already clarified that her adult kids were incapable of a thing without her and her ex in-laws were so habituated to having an unpaid maid, that they would need her all the time. Why did he assume that she would change when she never did so in all these years.

But then why even agree to marry someone in the first place when you can't give them the time and never be theirs? What is the point of marriage when you end up having to be a "Bati Hui Orat". No one deserves a weak and a coward man like Anuj Kapadia (except Maya cuz she’s desperate for him). Abandoning his wife at the first major roadblock in their life. Disgusting. Her personality, her life, her baggages, how she was wasn’t hidden from him. He has seen semi circle drama himself & been involved in it multiple times before he got married.. Anupama has been an open book to him. She didn’t lie to him about who she was, what her life has been, what her baggages were. Yet he chose to marry her knowing fully well what he’s getting into. Anupama didn’t want to get into a relationship or marry for that matter cuz she knew her trauma but this man showed her fairytale life, made fake promises, lied to her at every point when she doubted whether she’ll be able to keep him happy saying she’s enough for him. Forced her into believing she will be happy w him and he doesn’t want anything more than being with her. She never once said she’ll abandon shahs after marrying him. She infact always told him she can never be his fully and asked if he was okay w it.. she never gave him fake promises..

All she wanted was to GROW OLD WITH HIM.. little did she know that came w a condition.. he wanted her to be a mother again & forced more responsibilities on her.

Emotional blackmailed her for adoption knowing fully well she can’t say no (which was never discussed when he proposed marriage to her). Didn’t let her tell her kids about the adoption beforehand which created distance between her and her kids (Pakhi/Toshu/even Samar). As despicable as they were, they deserved to know if their mother was planning on adopting a kid. But he forced her to stay quiet and not tell them. And a fool that she is agreed. Took M to picnic… Lied to her about picnic debacle w Maya knowing fully well what Anu’s traumas were. Yet this fool defended him infront of everyone and called him her god 🥴

Since Maya is desperate to be w a weak, stupid man like Anuj Kapadia, she can have him and deal with his bullshit. So yeah pls get Anupama and Anuj divorced. I think MAA likes to be in denial mode all the time. She was in denial mode when V was betraying her and she is in denial mode yet again with PAA this time. She feels that she is someone who has to give benefit of doubt to others and has to play the devils' advocate to their side. But unfortunately ,MAA never realizes that no one does that with her- never gives her benefit of doubt or even take her side (Samar is a classic example). The day MAA realizes that she needs to leave her comfort of being in denial, that day she will actually fly like the pigeons and doves that we see flying in the montage. Until then

Anupama is in denial, she actually knows that what Anuj did was not right. But she is if she agrees or not emotionally dependent on him. Could be even also be that she doesn`t want to accept the fact that even her second marriage was not sucessful.
Anuj has told her many times to focus on their marriage and Choti Anu but Anupama could not set the priorities right.

Bang on yaar!!! Completely agree with you. Audiences need to boycott this show for their own sanity and good. I am not sure if Bhavana herself knows what she is writing
