It's people priortising something memorable over something that gives them cheap thrills for free.

People will talk about Dhoni and Kohli's ipl 10 years from now. Like they talk of 2013/16/18 ipl. No one even remembers the serials that were on air then.

All shows saw a drop because CSK, RCB, MI all had important matches last week.

And do so this week as well.

Anyhow, trade analysts here think that Star would cull Ghum— a show which has over 0.8 and 1 points over its closest rivals and is a top 3 show— during ipl so good for them.

I am happy after two years I m getting to see this kind of slide, whatever be the reason. The whole team has been supremely confident..well, arrogant that whatever rubbish they throw at the audience, they will lap it up. They had a captive audience of loyalists who would've stuck by the show, regardless of whatever, if that captive audience goes, they have not much more left.

Yes, IPL has impacted them badly. But this slide is such that after IPL, will it be able to go back?? Like I looked for other shows and I'm happy the current number 2 is a show I have started watching. There's some sense in what appears on screen. Even though, the story is similar to Ghum

They actually have so much content they can play around with, even keeping the current Vinu equation intact, but they go back to square one, making Sai suffer. Last week was terrible for Sai, running helter skelter with Savi.

Ok guys, Sayonara. Continue with the analysis of why TRP dropped. 😆
