He composes himself

M- Fine. Bhaiya aap iss address mein drop kar dijiye humein

Maan gives the address to the driver

G- Mujhe toh laga tha tum hotel mein nahi ruk sakte ho. Hotel mein ruk sakte ho toh mere ghar pe kyun ruke ho? Hotel mein kyun nahi gaye?

Geet thinks out loud

But Maan chooses to ignore her question

As she looks around memories start pouring in

She takes a deep breath to compose herself

Maan rings the doorbell

Geet sister opens the door and both happily hug each other

Her other sister and parents also appear happily to welcome them

Ma- Aiye aiye jamai ji

Maan folds his hands as acknowledgement towards the parents

Geet looks at Maan to see whether he is uncomfortable

But his expressions are unreadable

So she starts to step in to get in the house quickly

Ma- Arre ruk, pehli baar tum dono aaye ho. Grihpravesh toh karenge naa

The family does aarti and all

Geet is getting annoyed with the drama

Maan is standing their obediently

Father- Jamai ji, aap dono ko aane mein takleef toh nahi hui naa. Hum gaadi bhijwa dete

G- Jamai ji ki takleefon ke baare mein pehle soch lete toh zyada acha ho jaata

Geet enters rolling her eyes

Ma- Geet!

Ma snaps at her

M- Nahi sab theek tha

Maan answers her father while ignoring Geet

Father- Suno, jamai ji thak gaye honge. Unko unka karma dikhado, thoda aaram kar lenge

The father says to Geet’s mother

Ma- Ji ji

‘Unka kamra’ Geet wonders, she was heading towards her old room

Ma- Tu kahan jaa rahi hai, idhar aa!

Ma stops Geet and pulls her aside

Ma- Wahan kahan jaa rahi hai? Tu aur jamai ji ke rehne ka intezaam main tere papa aur mere bedroom mein kar diya hai

G- Kya??? Par kyun???

Ma- Kya kyun? Jamai ko kahin bhi thode thehra sakte hain. Aur tu ye, kaise saade kapde pehenke aa gai. Shaadi ke baad pehli baar aarahi hai, mahualle waale taak lagake baithe the. Zara achi saaree, thode zevar sindur, mangal sutra kuch toh pehen aati. Jamai ji ne tujhe sarr pe bitha rakha hai!

G- Toh pehle batana tha ki mauhalle ka fashion show ho raha hai

Ma- Chup ho jaa! Shaadi ke baad bhi zabaan katt-katt chalti hai

G- Kyun shaadi ke baad bezubaan ho jaate hain kya aap ki tarah?

Ma- Akalmand ho jaate hain, samjhi? Chal jamai ji intezaar kar rahe haain

Geet’s mom directs Geet and Maan to the bedroom

Ma- Jamai ji, aap aaram kar lo. Phir khana laga deti hoon

Maan nods

Ma- Aur ye hamare mein rivaaz hai, jamai ghar mein aata hai toh unko ladki ke maike se kapde dete hain. Aap agar ye pehnoge toh acha lagega

Geet’s mother hands Maan a bag

Maan nods

M- Thank you

Maa smiles

Ma- Waise jamai ji, ek baat kahun?

M- Ji

Ma- Geet ke papa, jo pehle hua uske liye bohot sharminda hain. Islie who aap se nazar milaane mein bhi kat ra rahe hain. Aap ho sake toh unko aur hum sabko maaf kar dijiyega

M- Ji, aap chinta mat kariye. Uss baat ko 2 saal ho gaye hain

Maa grins happily

Ma- Jeete raho beta. Khush raho. Aaram karo

Maa leaves

Geet appears from the other side of the room

G-  “Ji, aap chinta mat kariye. Uss baat ko 2 saal ho gaye hain” ???? Chinta matt kari???

Maan looks at her

G- Tum kitna kuch keh sakte the. Aur tumne bass…

M- Kya keh sakta tha. Aur kyun kehna tha?

G- Kyun nahi kehna tha! Tumhare saath jo hua…

M- Harr baat pe logon se jhagda karne ki koi zarurat nahi hoti. Ye samajhna chahiye

G- Harr cheez mein chup rehne ki bhi koi zarurat nahi hoti , ye tumhe bhi samajhna chahiye!

Maan doesn’t answer her back to stop the quarrel

G- Tum iss poore jhamele se iss baar bach sakte the. Par nahi! Tumhe to serial ki mahaan bahu banna hai! Tum Anupama ho yaa Tulsi, ya Parvati; mujhe toh samajh nahi aata

M- Acha? Toh mujhe yahan nahi aana chahiye tha?

G- Bilkul nahi

M- Tumhari behen ki shaadi hai, unhone mujhe invite kiya tha. Toh main kya kehta?

G- Manna kar dete!

M- Aur tum?

G- Main kya?

M- Tum apni behen ki shaadi mein nahi aana chahti thi?

She answers after a moment

G- Chahti thi. Par tumhe pata hai naa tumhe yahan kitni takleefein hongi aur ye sab natak karna hoga. Inn logon ke saath uthna baithna padega jo…

M- Tumhari behen ki shaadi thi. Tum aana chahti thi. End of discussion.

Maan turns away fiddling with the kurta pajama that Geet’s mom had gifted

G- No!

Geet appears in front of him

G- Main aana chahti thi. Main aajaati. Mere paas plan tha

M- Aur kya tha who plan?

Maan asks looking unconvinced

G- Main akeli aati

M- Aur log mere baare mein puchte toh?

G- Keh deti ki kaam tha toh tum nahi aa paaye. Yaa keh deti ki hamare beech mein kuch problems chal rahi hain

M- Acha. Tum keh deti kaam tha toh ye aas paas ke log baatein nahi banaate. Aur kehti ki hamare beech problems hain ye keh kehti toh tum tumhari iss behen ki bhi shaadi tutt jaati aur dusri ki bhi nahi ho paati. Aur sab tumhe zimmedaar thehraate

G- Woh sab main handle kar leti par tumhe toh pareshaaniyaan nahi hoti naa

M- Tumhe toh hoti. Aur main nahi chahta tumhe koi pareshaani ho. Main ye handle kar lunga. Trust me

Maan says with such a sincerity that for a second Geet’s heart stops to just hear him and believe his each and every word

Her gaze meets his

His eyes were as dark and deep as the deepest night

That sense of assurance in his words was filling her heart

I really loved how after so much of events Maan is maintaining his composure & managing everything at Geets place nicely as it is matter of family

Thou Geet was pissed off with the entire drama feeling that if they were so concerned they wouldn't have created a mess like this but she cannot do anything as it is her sister marriage

Maan to calmed her with his assurance that he is going to handle things smoothly which was surprising for Geet

Fabulous and so Amazing Update 

Geet seemed pissed off and taking all her frustration out on Maan

but I admire that he thinks about Geet and her sister

as it's a wedding and people will surely ask Geet about her husband 

Geet's parents giving Maan the respect a son in law deserves 

I'm hoping that Maan can win over Geet at this wedding 

Beautiful update! 

They had no respect for her when she was living at home. Now when she comes back with a husband, all doors are open.
