Every family is toxic, if we start nit picking. There are faults with every single person living on earth. Nobody, I repeat, nobody is perfect. Some have outdated and conservative views, some are insensitive and generally disrespectful. The fact is Meerab doesn't value what she has in life, whatever that is, and however bad it may be. There are always people who have it worse than someone else.

She doesn't do anything either to make her own situation better. Only tantrums, blame game, throwing her weight around without substance to back her words or claims. She also isn't thankful for the small mercies. Trauma and difficulties help people become down to earth and teach humility. Meerab doesn't ever seem to come off her high horse.

As someone rightly pointed out, she has the saviour syndrome, where she thinks she's somehow "better" than the people in that house. "That" family is where her own origins are. And she is toxic for her own self, by constantly self pitying and playing the victim card. No one is treated as an "individual" in that house actually. It is a feudal set up with its restrictions and way of life. If she's so bothered, why doesn't she respectfully leave or maintain distance or at least take steps to get agency back in life now?
