Mera Sasural Magnetising Young Women

Mera Sasural , on Saharaone TV (M2F 7.30 PM) ,is a story of two sasurals based in Jammu. It revolves around a Punjabi family comprising of two real brothers Yashpal Khajuria and Bhushan Khajuria residing in the same house. The Khajuria family is headed by the elder brother Yashpal Khajuria, a Jagrata singer who runs a shop outside the temple of 'Bave Wali Mata', in Jammu. Yashpal feels that he has always remembered mata and so in return, mata has always blessed him with everything. His wife Babbu is a woman of commendable substance. Yashpal and Babbu are still very much in love. They are blessed with three children. Their elder son Shravan who is married to Indu, the other son Omi is an army officer and an eligible bachelor while daughter Goldie who loves sports and more of a tomboy in nature.

Yashpal's younger brother Bhushan and his wife Sushma live in the same house. Sushma dislikes the Khajuria family from the bottom of her heart. She has a step-brother Loveleen, a very simple man who works as an insurance agent.

Yashpal's elder son Shravan is already married and now the Khajuria family has approved of a Kashmiri girl Heer as their bahu and the bride for their second son Omi. When Omi sees Heer's picture, initially disapproves of the alliance. Heer works as a radio jockey for All India Radio and conducts an programme for the army 'Fauji Bhaaion Ki Farmaish'. Its this programme of Heer which Omi hears and is totally mersmerized. He consents for the marriage with her. Heer and Omi tie the knot as Heer is welcomed wholeheartedly by the Khajuria family. Meanwhile, Yashpal's daughter Goldie falls in love with Sushma's step – brother Lovleen. His step sister, Sushma decides to get Goldie and Lovleen married.

Mera Sasural is the journey of two young girls Heer and Goldie in their respective sasurals where one sasural crosses all barriers and defies all limits to ensure the happiness of their bahu. It proves to the world that relationships nurtured in sasural are not of one lifetime but lasts for saat janam. On the contrary the other sasural believes in the fact that Beti kabhi buri nahi hoti aur bahu kabhi bhi acchi nahi ho sakti.

Produced by In House production in association with Sacchitanand production, Mera Sasural has an spectacular star cast like actors Sudhir Pandey, Ragini Shah, Nandita Puri,Pankaj Beri, Pooja Joshi and so on. The lead character of Heer will be essayed by the very innocent and beautiful Urmila Kanetkar.
