Not only is this article praising him but it’s also taking a couple of digs at Dharma. I wonder if KJo will retaliate, or ignore it because Ayan is malkin’s cousin?

Ever since his exit from Dharma Productions, Ayan Mukerji has been flooded with offers from across production houses. Of all the offers he received, the director decided for himself to direct the epic YRF Spy Universe Film, War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. in lead. "The minute Aditya Chopra saw Brahmastra, he knew that Ayan had the potential to direct a stylish action film. He made an offer to Ayan and the director was more than happy to enter the YRF Spy Universe. Ayan is in fact excited to be groomed by the best in business," a source told Bollywood Hungama.
At YRF, Ayan will be getting the best of the technicians from the West. "Ayan is being handsomely paid to direct War 2. He has signed the contract of Rs. 32 crores as directorial fees for War 2 and the director is all gearing up to start the pre-production work this month. Ayan intends to take War 2 on floors by November and call it a wrap in a year's time," the source told Bollywood Hungama further.

War 2 is slated to release by the end of 2024 or early 2025 and will be the sixth film in YRF Spy Universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. The film will be a continuation of episodes post Tiger 3 and will eventually lead to the epic face-off between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan.

With Rs. 32 crores for directing War 2, Ayan Mukerji has become one of the highest-paid directors at YRF, right after Siddharth Anand.

This is the most bizarre turn of events I have seen.Kjo,RK and Alia should be mad at Ayan.Instead,they are thrown under the buzz..and he is being celebrated.

Fans of the 3 have nothing against Ayan.No one speaks against him.Ayan didn't mention Dharma or Kjo in the story he posted.I think it was unforgivable.

This article is ludicrous.

What I don’t get is where is all this attitude coming from. Ayan has to be aware that Barhmastra was a financial failure and that ultimately Dharma is a business and a for profit establishment. Besides, it wasn’t just Dharma. Obviously Disney Star has moved on too any they probably financed most of the movie anyway. So why this anger towards Dharma and KJo?

And what does all this mean for Ranbir and Alia, specially Ranbir and his equation with the two men?

Ayan ki aukaat hi kya hai bhai other than being a wannabe Imtiaz Ali. Another Dharma ke tukdon pe pala hua thankless soul.

Have we any ideas what happened between the four most involved persons? No.

We can make assumptions. But there are reasons that things went neither smoothly nor professionally right.

It will take some time to see what Ayan can do as a YRF-director.

If Karan/Ayan don’t work together again ever will it be bullying on eithers part ?

This article is also to hype up Ayan and try to mask away the reports about dharma and Disney backing out of brahmastra, because that gives away that brahmastra was not a success at the box office, so this is also pr to try to hide that by making Ayan look like one of the most successful directors in Bollywood.

these directors are just chasing box office numbers like crazy, each one wants to outdo the other, why don’t they first learn how to make a good quality film.

I think if anything YRF or Adi in particular will actually be the one to reign Ayan in. KJo probably gave too much freedom which led to spiralling costs and a decade long film making process.

Let's see how this plays out.
