I thought she was already in charge of the investigation after her electrocution- My guess is she already knew what caused the machines to short circuit and placed one such machine in Abhir’s room to cause the accident and indirectly shake Akshara’s bhaRosa on Dr. AbhiM. She wants Akshara to leave with Abhir.
