These Trilogies are announced to make the film sound bigger. Baahubali was in 2 parts. I am not sure if KGF, Pushpa were announced first as trilogies. Films which become a rage..gets sequels and become franchises.

In Ranbir's case B V,JJ and Brahmastra were announced as grand trilogies.

what else to expect, It was Big Flop.

It was crystal clear from the promo itself and Day 1 Box office when PVR shares took a dip in the share market.

In the the other topic about Ayan announcing Brahmstra and no KJo, someone said Ayan actually owns the IP rights of Brahmstra. Idk how accurate that is. It is more likely that Jio purchased the rights from Dharma. Akash Ambani was seen at Kjo’s a couple of weeks ago.

As for Brahmstra, it was obvious to most of us that the movie was a flop. It was simple mathematics. Facts don’t change just because fans argue over it or verified accounts tweet in all caps.

As someone said a few pages back this all could just be a PR thing to keep the movie and Ayan in the news for a bit till he garners more hype for War2. Otherwise YRF would have picked up Brahmstra and finished the franchise.

Also, Himesh’s second tweet sounds a bit ominous 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is what happens when you have to pay more money to the Twitter promoters to give the film rave reviews than the film actually earned.

It's kind of hilarious though. First Karan Johar poured so much money for 7 years in this mediocre over budgeted venture, then he poured even more money for the massive PR campaign to somehow prove that the movie is not a complete disaster at the BO to save his and his beti and damad's face, only for things to turn out like this.Quite deserving!
