Guys…apologies in advance for my ignorance… but i just rewatched meerab’s monologue about mariyam and Anas’s love and chahat …did the writer create this entire track to basically show meerab and us that arranged marriage is much better than love marriage…like is this supposed to help meerab appreciate her situation…after realizing who anas is and this whole thing…is meerab supposed to just magically fall in love with Murtu…I’m so confused..we know writer had an arranged marriage and thinks that nikah has magical powers…just curious

But what is he holding on to, his wife or his love for her. He is conflicted by both these problems.

These two episodes have revealed us what his trigger points are and she is hell bent on attacking them, and testing his limits. Maybe she wants him to snap but can she bear it when he does.

He either need to change his mindset or meerab had to give up her own identity for this marriage to survive.

I am sensing latter one already the way he got her to promise she should never meet rohail.

No… it’s not her fault here. But I think it is still left lingering in his heart. Just like she is human, he is human. And her suddenly asking all these questions about love and marriage, and expressing how theirs wasn’t an ideal marriage etc. - it’s probably confusing the heck out of him ( especially with the recent flirting scenes) and his insecurity is making him think that maybe it’s Rohail. He doesn’t know about anything else going on. Meanwhile Meerab has probably forgot about Rohail right now and is really just thinking about the whole Anas and Mariyam love story. It’s all misunderstandings to twist up the plot. Her thinking one thing, saying something coded, him thinking she’s saying the coded thing because maybe she still loves rohail? 😂

Meerab has gone through her own trauma and has her own trust issues. I do feel like the Rohail thing is weighing on him. I think it’s a combination of things - she’s never said that she loves him back and she stayed quiet when Rohail was declaring his love for Meerab and saying all that crap about Murtasim. It’s made him really insecure in this relationship.

hmmm this is a good point. All this time, he was confident that one day she will love him back.. but now he is not sure anymore.. and thats probably killing him from within..
