This! This! Typical Teji & women like her who are our worst enemies as women. Blame & shame the other woman for hubby’s betrayal. Now blame & shame the girl her son’s interested in, instead of telling him her reservations.
She is " mentally unstable " she needs a psychiatrist
Even if Vian marry any woman also she will destroy their relationship with her obsession.
Oh My God she gives me Iswari ( Kuch Rang) wibe like not bad yet so lethal , luckily Viaan is different !
I can't bear one more Iswari 🤣🤣
For me the best scene was Viaan's behaviour while Katha denying him he says " please call me VIaan" and then" I can't forget and move on " in pre cap
His face ,,,,, hilariously innocent , cute and pure
I smell kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi plotline 😅 although haven't watched that, the promos were itself enough to get a gist.
I agree with this but in case of Teji it is not just this natural concern. She is a needy controlling delusional woman, or has sadly become like this in the wake of her hibby’s betrayal. As someone pointed out, she will not tolerate even a bahu chosen by her for long, when she starts seeing Viaan become close to the girl.
It might be but in that case she wouldn't have confronted Viaan so openly and told him about her conversation with Katha. She would have continued being a silent villian atleast for Viaan.

I know a few moms, including from 2 generations before me who were totally ok with their sons marrying single moms. This needs to be highlighted. We don’t need to regress and normalize the wantings or delusions. You are bang on here. I know we all need a story and so we need to have all types of behavior and attitude in it, but some things can definitely be more positive.
Think we all need to get use to it and be accepting considering that marriages are just not lasting that long compared to previous generations. It depends how open minded people are. It might be easier for families if they have know them for years, so they know their personality but if it just a stranger they don’t know then for them it just risky.

Teji should first learn to make her face expressionless. Then, she should also learn to tell Reet and Reet-types, not to unnecessarily worry about Viaan. Then she should talk about her concerns with Viaan. Without even knowing Katha’s stance, she should not be speaking about this at all!
Oh no no no no, first speaking to Viaan and then going to Katha is asking for toooooo much for a mamma like Teji. Because for her, everyone wants to use and abuse her baby 🤣
Mums like these are an absolute pain!!
But the way you put it, is literally what a sane logical lady should have done!!
I liked today's episode, and see where everyone is coming from.
I understand Katha's rejection, Viaan's endless love and Teji's POV

I don't feel Teji is wrong entirely here. Would a mother be okay with her (only) son marrying a person who has experienced love and everything that comes with it? I wasn't in her favour until she said "I don't want you to marry someone who comes with a lot of past baggage"
Before calling Teji a classist narcissist, let's understand we are talking about a single mother's worry for her only son.
Very true!!
And I think its totally valid for Teji to be concerned because she would definitely want her son to experience every bit of happiness in a relationship. But with Katha and Aarav, there will be some extra t&cs here and there. So Teji being concerned, like you mentioned, is justified
However, what I think is pissing people off more is the way she is dealing with that. And her body language is making her look like a childish villain at times And some of her old dialogues made it seem like she thinks Katha would want Viaan just for his money or something.
So its her thought process thats giving a negative vibe!
I wish she had this discussion with Viaan first, telling him about the "baggage" single women come with instead of accusing Katha first

You forget, she also suspects her baby will be taken away from her.
