Anupamaa: Khyati, Rahi discuss menopause; Vasundhara blames Anu’s influence

Tonight's Anupamaa episode opens on an emotional note as Digvijay lashes out, accusing his own son of trying to erase Saavi’s memories. Overwhelmed and suffocated, he insists that Bose and Banku break open the locked space. Despite Anupama repeatedly urging him to stay calm, Digvijay refuses to listen and continues demanding that the door be opened. This pushes Anupama to lose her patience. She firmly tells him that Saavi is not trapped behind any door, but lives within his heart. She encourages him to preserve Saavi’s memories within himself instead of clinging to physical spaces.

Meanwhile, Ansh attends a job interview and expresses his determination to work honestly. However, Gautam humiliates him, claiming no one would willingly hire him. He reveals that Ansh only got the interview because of his recommendation. Gautam further insults him by suggesting he should sell incense sticks like Hasmuk, while also disrespecting both Hasmuk and Prarthana. He warns Ansh to stay away from Pranshi and criticizes the Shah family for making elders work instead of letting them rest. Crossing all limits, Gautam makes an insensitive remark about death, which provokes Ansh to hit him. Gautam retaliates immediately and threatens Ansh to stay in his place or face consequences.

Back at home, Digvijay breaks down completely as he recalls the tragic past. He remembers calling Saavi that day, which ultimately led to her fatal accident. Filled with guilt, he questions why he survived while she lost her life. Anupama, deeply affected, is reminded of Samar and shares the same pain. She reflects on how she still searches for Samar in her everyday life. While Banku tries to console Digvijay by offering him water, Anupama is unable to hold back her tears. She realizes that while she had her family, including Anuj, to support her through her grief, Digvijay is battling his loss alone. Determined to help him heal, she promises herself that she will help fulfill Saavi’s dream.

In another part of the house, Rahi notices Khyati’s uneasiness and asks her what is bothering her. Khyati admits that returning to work after a long gap has been difficult. When Rahi probes further, Khyati reveals she has been experiencing mood swings. Rahi gently explains that Khyati might be going through menopause and highlights how such topics are often ignored in society. Khyati acknowledges that she is aware of menopause but hadn’t considered the pre-menopause phase. Rahi emphasizes the lack of awareness in rural areas and insists that mothers should openly discuss such changes with their daughters. Khyati appreciates this perspective and says that’s exactly why she is opening up to Rahi.

Soon, Prem and Raja join the conversation, revealing they are researching menopause. Prem states that men should also educate themselves about it. However, Vasundhara dismisses the issue, saying women have always dealt with such phases and questions why Khyati is making it a big deal. She criticizes Khyati for choosing to work instead of focusing on household responsibilities. Meeta adds fuel to the fire by accusing Khyati of competing with her and suggests she should just manage the house while others earn. She also taunts Khyati for constantly grieving over Parag.

Feeling cornered, Khyati finally voices her pain. She admits she feels lonely and uncared for, stating that even her son Prem is too consumed in his own struggles to notice her. Vasundhara continues to scold her, but Prem intervenes and apologizes to his mother for neglecting her. Raja also expresses regret. Vasundhara then blames Rahi for influencing everyone, but Khyati defends her, saying Rahi has only supported her. Prem thanks Rahi for standing by his mother, and Rahi responds emotionally, saying Khyati is like her own mother. However, the moment takes a turn when Raja questions why Rahi cannot understand Anupama, leaving both Rahi and Prem stunned. Watching all this, Vasundhara silently decides that Anupama’s influence on the Kothari family needs to be removed.

Towards the end, Anupama expresses gratitude to Digvijay’s family for giving her shelter. Digvijay, however, refuses to leave his house under any circumstances. Jaya questions why he should be forced out of his own home. Anupama tries to calm Digvijay once again, reminding him that even if a house is lost, memories can never be taken away, they stay alive within the heart.

In the precap, Rahi receives an unexpected phone call from a woman who introduces herself as a co-founder and partner in the company Rahi works for, promising to meet her soon. Meanwhile, Digvijay discovers a connection with Anuj. When Anupama questions him, Digvijay reveals that Anuj had once given Saavi a cheque to start her restaurant, and declares that Anupama has a rightful claim over Saavi’s café.
