Yes I have seen both of the male leads in other shows so I wanted to watch this but I couldn't stand how the 1st one was butchered and didn't watch the Nuj as well because deep down I knew what's going to happen to him ,I stopped watching it 2 yrs back might bwe more than that .

He is not the best male lead! He is to Anupamaa what Anupamaa was to Vanraj.

He has just been cleaning up after her everytime, literally protecting her. That one goon fight on the beach wasn't enough. He paid off 20 lacs and still hasn't asked for it back. He let himself get insulted so many times.

He didn't make Anupamaa prioritize her commitment to their partnership restaurant and only got to CA when all limits were crossed.

"Meri Anu Kabhi galat nahi ho sakti" and giving her all his property without preparing her to handle it only depicts a pushover loverboy making a trophy wife who is his "jeet", not a strong male lead interested in empowering his wife.

Sorry I left the forum nearly 2 yrs back so I don't know all that but I had seen his and Vanraj the few shows which I liked .

If the show Anupamaa was about women empowerment, she shouldn't have ended up with a man who was as crazily in love with her as she was with Vanraj. I never supported MaAn marriage, not until Anupamaa had become a full fledged entrepreneur like Sreemoyee. You will not see even one post of mine appreciating their romance.

The track was expedited partly due to GauRup chemistry but mostly because of the craze of lovestruck MaAn fans who need a fairytale and a rescuer for a woman in every show. Now the same people are abusing Anuj's character and calling him another Vanraj.

What she needed was a mentor to drive her, not a loverboy who oogles at her stupid gestures while she patches her mental wounds with bandaids to resume to do the same duties she used to do before divorce. The chemistry of the actors could have been utilized even without marriage and for quite some time.

I would have found it more realistic if Anupamaa was Anuj's forgotten crush whom he liked in college for just her beauty but grew to love her now after seeing her other qualities. It would have made an interesting scene if Anuj would have not recognized her at reunion or expressed subtle shock at how much she has changed because of how much she suffered in Shah house.

Loved it. Very good clean mirror for that woman who born as maid and meant to be slave and dancing dall on others tune. Here Anuj destroyed partially by himself by giving all business rights to that motivation less gawar woman who is nothing but an empty vessel. And empty vessel sounds much. That's why she always lecturing around who even can't properly pronounce word. Buy pampering her by constant saying "meri and kabhi galat nehi ho sakti. ".

By allowing her garbage kids by providing money and help should be restricted too some extent. By allowing and giving her free pass to her ex inlaw house cum present mayka. She deserve what she got from RavanRaj , mawalli jhuli, and her spoilt kids.
