I'm sorry but it's definitely not accepted by most of her fans. Unless you are a fan, then great that makes one of you. Maybe there are one or two more. But most are very defensive and go to great lengths to justify her mistakes. But anyway, like you said, she is the show's lead, there's no story of Maya without her etc., so when the show is about her, discussion including criticism will be mostly about her. How much can you criticise a very reptitive negative character right. It's like Vanraj does the most absurd clownery and there's barely a post where we talk about it, because we're so used to his rubbish. Maya also has been doing the same crap for a while now, there's nothing new being revealed about her or her intentions. Anupama also actually has been doing the same thing in different situations, but she's the titular character so who else is there discuss, none of us rooted for the other characters in the past the way we did with her. So we get more agitated by her repeated mistakes and refusal to learn/grow.

Anyway, the reason this comparison even came was because I found the Kanta advice thing funny, it was in humour. Will take my humour elsewhere😆
