AFAIK, from my SIL who is a lawyer in India, Indian law protects woman in a marriage. If the woman asks for divorce under abuse, non-consummation, dowry harrassment etc. Court will be willing to give her divorce ofcourse with proper proofs.

whereas for man, it is hard to prove abuse and non-consummation. however, any solid proof can work in his favor if his mental health is being effected.

Today laws are equal to both genders I believe. But yes non-consummation cannot be proven in the favor of husband asking divorce. Mostly mutual works for a man I think.

Frankly speaking it's high time they change Virat's characterization for better otherwise the story will just remain stagnant as usual. What's the point of Virat doing that church confession, chowkidaari, holi confession, supporting Sai in the court case, signing the divorce papers if he has to go back to Pakhi again after Sai marries Satya? That chowkidaari and supporting Sai in court case were not done by him so that Sai will date him or marry him.

Right now Pakhi doesn't want Virat's love. All she wants is the prestige of being his wife. If he divorces her and makes her sign the papers by hook or by crook that will be her biggest defeat. Yes Ashwini, Ninad will support Pakhi but he has to be firm in his decision. Regarding Vinu he is too small to understand all these stuff. I think as long as his Mumma and Baba live under the same roof he would be ok. If Pakhi tries to manipulate him or poison his mind Virat has to stop her this time.

As I said they have to bring changes in his character now.

Virat should take transfer & move out alone or stay in his room refusing to be with family as he is depressed. He should tell P that he wants divorce or he doesn’t know what he will do to himself as he feels suffocated.

I had made a post about it few days ago. Virat should leave Nagpur after somehow making Pakhi sign the divorce papers and go away somewhere for few years and when he comes back there should be new Virat Chavan who is not dumb, stupid and insecure.

One of my most favorite where Bappa🙏Blessed Sai with Savi nd also underrated scene bcz of vankar🙃

P. S. I still regret he didn't showed sai's pregnancy journey which would've fetched immense trp but alas woh hamara sunta kaha
