Her screen presence did. She has many flaws as an actor, no denying that. People loving her more than necessary on SM, that also is not something which can be controlled. Everyone put their favorite on a pedestal. It’s inevitable.

However, I totally disagree with the part where you say they get TRPs so she doesn’t put efforts. The others might not, but she puts a loooot of efforts. You would know if you followed her closely. Her efforts shouldn’t be overlooked. She works tooth and nail to be Sai Joshi on tv, no matter how hard it has been at times !

the amount of efforts given to the character Sai by ayesha is tremendous nd its said by her coactors so often 'that ayesha is such hardcore workaholic she gives her whole strength nd time to portray Sai so beautifully onscreen that ppl now today thinks Sai as their 'apni',not only this ayesha is an emotional person in her real life which is an add on to play Sai ,that's she got connected with Sai that in ivs she ends up with tears in her eyes talking about the scene or sequence, ayesha lives Sai,her co actors like Neil, ashwini,aishwarya sharma,pankaj even vankar said that ayesha is super hard working nd works for 12hrs daily more than any actor in the show bcz Sai needs to be in every episode, which sometimes, she ends up falling ill,thats y in some episodes she looks weak nd dull, despite of all fame,immense love from audience nd fraternity ayesha is so so grounded nd courteous which is so rare to find in actors these days, these are the things which attracted me towards Sai nd ayesha ,in short she is a normal simple family girl I love her for this😊🤩, despite everything whatever she has achieved till now,nd I hope nd wish that ayesha to be like this always nd never change herself in this glamour world Insha'Allah🤲

Sorry for jumping in- but I felt like chiming in since ots views of performance -

@Bold- I agree and share exactly same opinion.

I have loved Ayesha since beginning- even her much criticized breakdown after Aba’s death. I came to know later that people didn’t like her. I loved it- wo knowing who she is background or anything.

For me she fit the role of a hot headed but emotionally intense teenager perfectly. Her as Sai once she gets married was just amazing! Sai’s bidaai, grah pravesh and night alone in room were perfectly enacted by her.

Neil IMO complemented really well initially but he has regressed a lot post Shruti track. Usually actors have few bad days n for him its like few good days.

Script is not helping them either but a good actor can salvage a lot of it with performance - here it’s opposite with Neil.

Main difference between him n Ayesha that I see is- he gives up when script is faulty for Virat and Ayesha tries hard to make up with performance when its faulty for Sai.

Having said that- overall character arc of all have been so bad lately that its hard to connect and criticize without factoring it in. She still has lot of room for improvement as actor.

But I think Ayesha as Sai was perfect casting. They hit a jackpot there.
