We need to be in their shoes what it takes to be here...Both Ayesha and Neil are doing reasonably good..I remember some actor opposite Saniya got fired within one month because he was not up to the scratches...Thats how the industry works..

We know who’s been running a ridiculous show for the past years with the support of obviously other actors who are worthy of being called “actors”. Won’t put anyone down just for the purpose of hailing my favorite 😆

Umm I talked about the leeway Ayesha gets, people on twitter aren't harsh on her wrt acting as much as they're towards Bhatts as they dislike them offscreen too that makes them troll the two much more!

Ayesha is loved for her acting predominantly and then the offscreen is cherry on cake. People connected with her performance and loved Sai. From seeing as brash character they loved her because Ayesha made Sai so likeable. Thats all due to her performance.

As things stand between the 3 - Sai , V, P , characterization aside- Sai is 100% the best ENACTED character.

When the show started it was V who shone- due to NBs acting. But Ayesha learnt so quickly that now her performance trumps NBs easily. For a long time Sai/Ayesha has been the soul of the show. From seeing Ghkkpm as Vs story, audience sees it as Sai's story. That is all due to her performance. Its just a plus that shes also infinitely more likeable offscreen since the other 2 are unprofessional AF and so cringe.

She's junior to him , even picked up tips from him in the early days but shes grown by leaps and bounds whereas NB has stagnated and declined.

And actor playing p never could act so no point discussing her.

Good if for her fans NB is the benchmark being better than him makes her the best!

Twitter folks non fans are more non biased wrt acting as they have no bias or agenda towards the actors as they're not invested in the show. Their opinion will definitely be legit kyon ki fans keliye har kisiko apna favourite best lagte hai but they're not haters who don't think highly of her as an actor. Even Katrina kaif fans think she's amazing actress but is she? Let's not go there she's very kind & gorgeous woman tho.

I agree with you. Ayesha recently came on TMD as a guest and I remember seeing people who have no connection to Ghum talking about how childishly she was spouting her dialogues.

The thing is that there are 3 parts to liking a TV actor - onscreen character, acting and personal life.

Ayesha has an advantage that both her character and her offscreen personality have been likeable thus far. Which is why she is never dinged on her acting. I'd say she has improved from when she started, but once she leaves Ghum, she will have to work much harder if she wants to sustain herself.

It also benefits her that the other two are bad in all categories - their off screen personalities and on screen characters along with their "acting" are all disliked. Seeing as to how apparently ASB knows and is friends with everyone and anyone influential, they'll keep getting awards and work I'm guessing.

Good actors make you even root for negative characters (JW as Maya) or hate them truly (SP as Vanraj or KB as Viraj). Here, everyone is trolled from the leads to parallel leads and side characters. But they have TRP on their side, so no one bothers on actually working on their craft, be it the actors, the writers, or the editors.

TV industry is more harsh and dicey.. Till your show has a good run you will enjoy everything..

No one is claiming Ayesha is the best actress ever. But what matters is her effort and growth. And shes displayed that abundantly. And she's not just shown up on sets. She did acting school, she did theatre workshops. She's imbibed from everyone on set she works with. she marks her scripts, makes notes, remembers whats happened in the plot and other characters POVs also. In her IVs its clear she is literally living sai's part. thats why people connect with her. her popularity isnt because of her glam quotient, her other skills like singing/dancing or from a reality show or by being hooked to another actor or someone famous- its all self made. and to achieve that she has worked hard on her craft. yes she can get better but she is able to match up to senior actors like Kishori, or talented actors like Sid Bodke and HA effortlessly now. That is testament to her skill as an actor.

If you watch her journey she's has consistently upped her game.

Even in moments where I don't agree with Sai's actions I am compelled to stay invested in the plot due to her performance. She pulls you with her performance. she makes Sai likeable.

Cant say the same for others.

That hardwork, dedication, will go a long way to propel her . She'll also need a little bit of luck to be in the right place at the right time given how competitive the industry is

And given how popular she is with the cast and crew, clearly she is a good person to work with. a team player. she takes time to open up but everyone has a good word for her always. thats important. she has forged good relations with people on set.

She's worked a lot on her diction, her emotions and it's a WIP. she will get better with more projects and with interacting with more actors.

But she's the only one who's shown growth and consistency amongst the cast - especially the main characters. everyone else has not been able to do that.

Moreover she's shown consistency and growth despite the person opposite being unprofessional. That deserves credit. its not easy to work with people who have definitely interfered in the script and created trouble

She clearly has the personality to learn , to work hard and imbibe. Now she just needs a little luck to be noticed by people and given scope to perform multiple shades too.

Look, people putting Ayesha on a pedestal are definitely not the most honest out there, but downright saying that she’s a terrible actress is exaggerated.

This show wouldn’t have worked if it wasn’t for the leads. Ayesha did something right.

Now, I’m talking about me and only myself and no one has as to agree to me. I don’t watch shows if I don’t connect to the emotional aspect of characters. Neil and Ayesha together have created magic on screen for me, but Ayesha is the one who made me fall for the littlest things she did. The little expressions and emotions she’s portrayed have won the heart of many people. I didn’t know about her personally then. So no her nice personality did not make me watch her. She did. Her screen presence did. She has many flaws as an actor, no denying that. People loving her more than necessary on SM, that also is not something which can be controlled. Everyone put their favorite on a pedestal. It’s inevitable.

However, I totally disagree with the part where you say they get TRPs so she doesn’t put efforts. The others might not, but she puts a loooot of efforts. You would know if you followed her closely. Her efforts shouldn’t be overlooked. She works tooth and nail to be Sai Joshi on tv, no matter how hard it has been at times !
