What Went Wrong with Anupamaa? - Page 5

sorry didnt realise we were talking on the same lines here…well here’s what I’ve posted in another topic but this is one interesting discussion going on here.

We all know Anupamaa, the show (and the character) has suffered catastrophic damage in the last few months. Be it the ridiculous writing, the shoddy direction or the crappy execution, the show has taken a hit on all fronts and sadly there’s not much that can be done to salvage it.

No matter how many ‘new udaans’ they plan, it will not make a difference unless they actually acknowledge where they went wrong and genuinely feel the need to make a change.

For that to happen, they will first need to stop promoting it as a progressive show on women empowerment when it does nothing for the cause. But we know it aint gonna happen and we will be watching and trolling it the same in 2030.

few years back I started watching this show because I used to like the 1st male lead but the show was just to hype for the Devi ji so I left it ,even I liked the second male lead but I didn't want to watch because of Devi ji but now I am listening even he couldn't match her highness ,so Thank God I wasn't watching it but just came to read the funny comments of the members ,Good luck to all of you but I would be hoping up to enjoy the forum only .

Thank You. I came across this show clipping do not know how on you tube late September of 2022. Looked interesting watched few more clipping. Got hooked. found where to watch full episode. believe me when I say by Mid December the coma wore off.🤣

I found this forum to discuss this show with people who sound sane and normal. The ones on You Tube and other sites, were crapping me out with their obsession's of this character that scared me to my bones. Now I love coming here to just talk to everyone and discuss this show even if I am not watching everyday and just reading recap and trolling.🤣 You will find us more fun and hilarious and less scary to be posting with.

yes my point of view no need to watch the show just enjoy the forum ,we can find very good peoples here who don't even know you but we can discuss any thing here and have a fun to forget about daily life miseries and feel happy and relived .

Introducing the romance angle so quickly is what went wrong for Anupama. Instead of allowing her to develop as a person and grow the writers regressed and decided to bring in this angle straight away. Always had misgivings about that. Some of the tracks coming through are just so cringeworthy or teeth gnashing that it makes you think how they are getting these ideas. I guess it’s pop chits in a hat and draw one out each and every week. Another thing is the lack of accountability. No one storyline has had proper closure.
