The other guy is Talha Chahour. He was in Jo bichar gaye with Wahaj and Maya. Thought the political drama was not so popular. Both he and Wahaj started getting good offers from good directors after that. He is really good in his craft too. Lets see if he can make it big in his next projects.

OF COURSE HOW COULD I FORGET?!?! I kept thinking where did I see him….I loved JBG… it was after watching JBG that I binged Wahaj in all other previous shows.

Independent content creator are fun to watch but if they want wider audience and the Actor tag they need to do dramas in pakistan. So I dont expect him to be the same as he used to be then. But he should continue doing parodies. πŸ˜†

I just hope he doesnt do any toxic character . That will sadden me cause he is always vocal about feminism.

No yaar I want him in shows only….but this is when and how I fell in love with him….I am behaving like an old lover who goes through old photos and videos of the guy you don’t see anymore….πŸ₯Ί

My gut says he kept getting toxic guys to play and that’s why he chose Saima’s next, becos he didn’t want to play those roles. I still remember how he responded to a Metoo troll who BTW was a female fan of OB herself. I have forever loved him for that. I remember he said β€œgender sensitivity” training and I kept thinking NO actor or celebrity in India even knows this term. Or for that matter other Pak celebrities or stars. This guy is a cut above for me…will always be.

InshaAllah you will be a better writer in future. πŸ€—

I liked diyar e dil but its YKS which moved me very much .. hope her next with Bilal is worth the hype. Writers now fall prey to the trp game and end up ruining their creations under the pressure of channel and production house

@ bold - you are too sweet.l,aapke muh mei Gulan jamun aur Jalebi,

I think she is a phenomenal writer, I agree YKS is far more moving - there is something extremely vulnerable in all the characters in YKS that she was able to achieve…they touch a chord…. It’s also the world she creates in her stories!

In YKS I love love Hira Mani’s character, there is something so positive, so beautiful about her. She has lost as much as everyone else in that family, they are broken, but she isn’t. She lives and laughs for her son. It’s so subtly shown…it’s just brilliant. Everyone else is human, but Hira’s character is a little above and yet never overdone or unbelievably unbearable.

In DYD I find OB’s character quite problematic in the way he treats Maya Ali’s character, but her writing manipulates us into buying his love, he never wavers from his beliefs.AND importantly Maya Ali’s character has a voice that is meaningful, relatable. But the brilliantly done part is the dialogue on emotional manipulation that Maya Ali’s character tells her uncle about her own mother. It is so well done. Never seen such a dialogue and writing in any show before. And of course the stoic and classy nature of Hareem’s character is chef’s kiss.

Have you read her novels??? I hear they are phenomenal.

@ bold - really?!?! Oh but he only posted on insta na. Nothing else no other news.

I do agree that she is infamous for writing her screenplays ending ina rush. But apparently in her novels they are better wrapped up. So it’s possible it’s the PH or channel pressure. I remember once Mahira said in a Humsafar related 8nterviee that the channel inserted extra scenes and didn’t give a proper ending to the story to keep the trp up and that really upset the writer and Mahira too. Fawad couldn’t care less. πŸ˜†

Her novels are better than dramas for sure. The writing is damn good. Bin roye was damn good novel I cried all when I read it. But in drama or movie I didn't feel anything.

Diyar e dil yks are very well written novels. Also in diyar e dil novel Wali was not problematic character they might add some scenes later. Also the story was in backflash as well for both yks and ded and in dramas it was symmetrical.

Her other novels are also very good there are 1 or 2 novels of her which can be adapt in Ramzan dramas. They are short novels with cute love story

Hum tum β€” off and on… I found their chemistry meh..and story was also meh

Kaala Doriya - started for OB….did not even stay for OB

Chaudhry and Sons - gave it a miss

I actually enjoyed Ishq Jalebi more than Hum Tum. I thought those stories were every well done.

Only in this forum, did I see everyone in the forum telling iqra was loud. I used to think I was the only one as in other platforms everyone hypes the show.

Danish when he used to look like choosa hua aam🀣

Apparently this was the first ramdan play ever and not suno Chanda.

Why does it look like pak dramas in 2008 was more open with intimacy? There are so many eye locks and a holding on the waist for a few second intro song which we don't get nowadays. Also the fl is wearing a sleeveless kurta on the display pic. Was pemra not made in 2008πŸ˜†

Sanam baloch😭. I tried to watch this show but HUM hasn't uploaded it on YouTube. They recently uploaded Akbhari Asghari thoughπŸ˜ƒ

Yeah I also found CC better than SC. But there is problem with Saima. She makes her FLs unbearable after a point. Minu was not that loud but she annoyed me lot.

Again Ramsha was loud in Humtum.

Madiha was meek but somehow she was too meek and didnt say anything 🀣

Her FLs are extremeπŸ˜†
