I don't know if this was discussed previously but .....Is Katha not concerned who her son talks to?

As a mother I would be losing my mind if some random person calls my son and talks to him at odd hours. Specially since my son does not even know his real name.

Is she not even concerned a little bit? It reeks of Grooming and I get so uncomfortable watching it. I understand the innocence and the objective behind this track but still I wish the makers had made it more sensible than this.

Anybody else find this weird as hell?!?!

Yeah this whole Robin-Batman track is something to be very concerned about if it happens irl because an 8 year old child should not be talking to a stranger on the phone without the parents knowing who that stranger is. What's worse is Katha doesn't even try to find out anything about Robin? That's just bad parenting.

These days Katha seems to be not paying much attention to Aarav and yeah in real life this would be a danger point for someone if her/his kid is having friendship with an adult whose real name is not known.

It’s not bad parenting By katha

Yes she been busy with work

Katha has full trust on her son she know that there arave not bring drug or going out he just talking to someone who he met a his sports club

There only soo much single parents can do

one thing I don’t understand y r we picking on the most pure relationships in the show

Let me add its most different one I’ve ever seen

Normally we young kid and adult but in katha it’s almost teen boy and adults which is shown from sports club not by saving from road or adult being it related it’s so natural for me that I really can relate to

perhaps we are supposed to be assuming that falguni ben is there in the background in teh park and has pre-approved of this robin and therefore it is okay? 🤷

katha is a strange woman. she insisted that she will have more work life balance when she rejoined work but she still seems to be overworked. dodo is the one cooking dinner. there are many times katha shows up after aarav has gone to bed or she is ready to drop....

so she is definitely not paying attention or setting rules on using the phone.

rather than the phone calls itself, I find the depiction of the friendship is at times odd. I find it very strange that viaan is showing calling aarav for romantic advice -- is he out of friends his own age? why would you ask a kid about dating advice? why would you be telling a child that you are stressed?

so basically it is all filmi and supposed to be cute but like with many arcs in ITV that involves children, it is very odd because the child acts like an adult at times and people also treat him like an adult.🙄 for the most part, ITV cannot write real and genuinely cute arcs when it involves children. no idea why.

nah you are bang on

1) viaan/aarav dont even know their real names

2) dodo moved in and that was random too

3) katha has to take a lot of chances cuz she has no one to support her i guess
