Who knows if she would have got work after marriage or allowed to work after marriage?

Could have been is open ended and subjective.

Of course when someone dies untimely death and has shown some potential in films like Deewana and Vishwatma, then one will feel she could have done lot better and improved a lot more if she had been alive or continued to work.

Lolo did improve but Lolo did not waste self in trying all sorts of stuff. Nor did she get married. Lolo had her issues too but never deviated focus from work and was quite competitive and hard working.

Wasn't the marriage kept secret so she could continue to get work? Also, she def always said she wanted to make it to the top. Agree who knows? It is all subjective now!

yeah even I read in many 90s magazines she used to drink a lot and her behavior was quite wild, she used to smoke an drink relentlessly to the verge of not been safe... and was quite a sensitive fragile person

All I am saying is that she had too much too soon. Too much was going on for her to handle IMO.

She was known to be reckless with herself and lacked discipline and professionalism and spoke without thinking and would often turn up late.

It is possible she was trapped in a situation she did not know what she was getting in to.

I think she married too soon as well.

She is a mysterious case.

But not entirely the legend in waiting or next Sridevi or mega talent she is made out to be now.

She looked good but she was a very average actor with flat dialogue delivery and lacked seriousness about her career and had no focus like say, Madhuri nor good guidance or networking skills. I would blame her parents for pushing her than being her guides or anchor the way Madhuri's and Hema's parents served as anchor for them.

May be later on in life she could have realised that this world and work is not easy to survive

In one interview she had mentioned after her movies started flopping that she has fallen flat and will have to start again from scratch

That time in Mumbai things were not good due to the riots blasts and people started linking her death to the situation she got lot of sympathy and even today she is discussed on Twitter

Quite possible if she or Gulshan Kumar types knew some secret or underworld links that others did not, and were bumped off as they knew too much.
