See this is the problem when you don’t flesh out your stories. Once a professor there told me the best thing about any epic story is when you can see both sides of the main crux.

For eg, there were no evils or greats in GOT just a bunch of characters trying their best. Of course some are more noble than others but you understand where everyone is coming from.

Here we understand Murtasim, maybe haya but everyone else flips and flops each episode. Worst is Meerab who has no POV. She just exists for Murtasim to make mahaan gestures for. There’s no character clarify or development.

Now let’s come to her USP- her golden goose - her murtu- he’s someone who’s now quickly becoming a doormat losing his alpha ness and also a fraud cuz the woman he loves has no redeemable quality. So what does her goose become?

PS - She thinks he took pity on her when he married her! Last thing Meerab wants is pity and that too from KMK - her Shohar!

According to the test explanation Meerub is basically emotionally abusing Murtasim bcoz she was abused by her parents. Whatever injustice happened to her, she’s unloading it all on Murtasim. And this is absolutely wrong on every level.

Guys plz don't over react

She tried her best

She will get better

This show is still much better than her debut show main na janu

Also it’s not that Meerab is not an interesting character. She is where all the angst and all the chance of development lies. Let her grow a relationship with Anwar, let her sort the air out with her foster parents. She is stagnant for the last 18 episodes and it’s frustrating to watch.

not just Murtasim - there needs to air time between meerab and the rest of the cast.

I am not delusional to praise a show when the quality isn’t there. MM sill works but are they even in the plot. That feeding scene should have been longer, is that not more important than to show Maryam talking to Harpie. This couple is your engine to the show, but the engine is cut off.

I genuinely thought it was wahaj illness because he is looking sickly makeup can’t hide everything. If you go back to the wedding episodes how fresh he looked, now he looks tired. But if that was the case why could they not add more Yumna scenes. They hate meerab so much they sacrifice her in the altar of witchywooo. The joke is on them they are doing murtaism no favours either, he had no real reaction to witch hurting his wife baby or no baby.

All those who were mocking TB for being a trash romance, you are wrong because where is the romance it is just becoming trash. I have seen many Korean Chinese romantic shows the focus is always the couple, even when they fight hate each other the focus is on them. Pak writers don’t know how to write a couple driven show where the main conflict is the couple themselves, you don’t need harpie to drive the plot.

Chemistry come from characters, if the characters don’t have that special sauce then wahaj and Yumna being this oh so great pair is another delusion. It is always meerab Murtasim first, if they are not special then neither are wahaj and Yumna. This takes away nothing from them as actors they are wonderful. This is like aishwarya Rai hrithik roshan, no on will deny they are hot onscreen so what, it is just an empty vessel, they didn’t play any iconic characters like Srk kajol did.
