For me this is waste... You could have drive any one cars you have.. Maybe it is a status symbol for them.. It is also human nature... RR is a car for stuffy old people who need to show off a status symbol. 😆Given he is advancing in years and doesn't have much else going for him (no PC etc.😉), the timing was right in that sense.

what's it with BW actors and their penchant for spending huge amounts on silly cars? Anil Kapoor with his 5 cr Mercedes Maybach, for example. You can pick up a nice "previously-owned" Bentley or equivalent from the showroom in Mayfair for about 75,000 pounds. Not much.

also, a lot of people can afford RRs. The question is priority. Spend it on charity, man, instead of buying stuff to stroke your ego. Of course, no one is saying it's not your money. Cigarette phooko ya car mei udao, saanu ki.😉😆

It comes down to money. VFX is very costly, and India doesn't have the big budgets that Hollywood has to afford that level of cgi. It also comes down to knowing how to most effectively use cgi. Most directors and producers in India have no idea how to manage vfx for their movies, so you get movies with massively bloated budgets but horrendous cgi work...and you wonder "how did they spend all that money?!" because they had no idea how to effectively use it.
