What self respect has to do with sai and kids.
If she wanted kids, she could have fought and made sure pakhi stay in jail pre leap, virat's bail wouldn't have saved pakhi had she fought.
With the evidences she had, she could have easily bring while chavan family on road to keep her kids future secure.

Atleast post leap, she had the chance to re open old case, but gave weird logic that vinu shouldn't come to court.
There are thousand ways to get her kids legally but her love for virat and his family is greater than her love for kids safety.

Vinu is still biased towards PL - he should overhear her talking to her mom or someone about using Vinu to go against Sai and keep Virat .. then his mind might change .. as he realises he was used and then Sai can console him about what a lovely child he is - and Sai can complete the convo she started about why she had to leave him and go and what all she did every year they were not together - just the way Savi got presents from her dad from Sai - Sai can also give Vinu all the presents she kept for him each year .. why don’t they do these kinda sequences anymore .. they have resorted to comfort and lazy writing
She tried when Sai came to stay in outhouse. She was told she can leave without Vinu. She backed out. This time Vinu too will refuse.
