attempts to harm the Hindi filmindustry or self-destruction?

Two news I read on Taran Adarsh's Twitter account made me ponder about that. It could be targeted attempts. but they also endamage the industry as such, I think.

1) Remake of a Tamil movie (crime thriller Thadam, 2019) with Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur, again produced by Bhushan Kumar (T-Series)

2) Two recent rumours about two films published without verification which shed a negative light on the productions. One is about the post-ponement of Jawan's date, the other about a movie with Ishaan Khatter and again Mrunal Thakur.

It is - btw - interesting that TJMM isn't listed on Bhushan Kumar's production list on Wikipedia...

No clue on the original topic. But do watch the original movie Thadam. It's available on Sun nxt with English subtitles and on youtube as a Hindi dub . It's a wonderful whodunnit easily on par with Andhadhun. The police have the weekend to decide which of the two estranged twin-brothers committed a murder. On top of it, the two brothers loathe each other and each one brings up past stories to paint the other as guilty. Gives me Kaminey vibes. Shahid would have been a better choice.
