It is your POV that Akshara is not given enough SS. I find her character much better after leap, her emotions are explored properly and her struggle with being stuck in past and urge to move forward is portrayed really. It is also important to show what is going through Abhinav's mind too. He had a major confrontation with his wife's past and it was necessary to give his take on that too as a character. Nothing wrong in that. A show cannot revolve only around the leads all the time. That's what happened with Kaira and people often complained about it. Yrkkh is a family show and every character has some importance.

I also don't know where Harshad and Pranali "dropped hints" about their displeasure. I didn't come across anything like that. Then again I don't pay much attention to off screen drama. If they do have problems, they can very well take it out with the creatives. As leads they have every right to voice their displeasure to the makers, instead of "dropping hints".

The change in makers is the root cause, as i said earlier.. Aarif and Romesh's are biased towards jay... Pranali is getting the short end and harshad had very well took it out on the creatives and got his redemption arc and screenspace back..The first person i replied to legit said that Abhinav was eating away Abhimanyu's ss, which was true at that point. But with yesterday and today's episode its very obvious... Well nevermind🙃

I think he is parallel lead. And he is definitely a lead material. This third season had not create such a great impact like last not because of lack of acting skills just because ckt arc. AK ckt is not like naira and abhi ko to shaadi divorce khelne se hi fursat nahi milti. I don't know now how many quality time abhira spent with each other. And according to current track there are no way for abhira. I know they are end game but still Akshara ne Abhinav ko chodna nahi hai, Abhimanyu himself maintain the distance from AK due to guilt so only Abhinav can turn the table. So if abhira is end game then Abhinav have to die or turn negetive. But Abhinav is not going to turn anyway because it would destroy the story. So for the leads they would destroy it. And Abhinav ckt also brought trp so he is not going to die soon. To tab tak wait Karo kahin aisa na ho abhira ko end game dikha kar 4th season start kar de.

Whatever i said about Abhinav is strictly my POV.It is highly subjective. The current track is a mess. It requires very good writing to resolve all the complexities of these relations. I too feel that characters of this gen are weak. Abhira have only spend little quality time with each other. Abhinav is a very positive character, he can either die or turn negative. I think he will turn negative. If he is positive and Abhira is the end game, Akshu will look bad. And the last part is true, since this is dkp... They rushed through 2 leaps in 1.5 years just because of their greed for trp. This gen was always the slot leader and had been top5 consistently..But dkp's aim was to beat ghum..which i dont see bearing fruits.

@bold underline : Pranali Rathod is an actress and it's her job to promote her on screen character and on screen couple. When AbhiRa were couple she used to post (promote) everything related to AbhiRa. couple was toxic, weak whatever, She was happy with AbhiRa or not i don't know. She hyped Akshara and AbhiRa, it's part of her work, she was doing her job at that time. Entertainment industry works like this only.

@bold : i used to follow them on insta. Currently I'm not on instagram. So Can you please tell me how they are dropping hints about their displeasure ? I want to know about it.

Yes a cameo who made it to the show's montage and promos. His character might have been supposed to be a cameo, but things have definitely changed. And he is definitely not lacking anything as a character (except for Abhimanyu's toxicity). But if you feel the character is lacking, well you are entitled to your opinion. And he has been the lead in another famous SP show, which is still loved by many and is considered one of the good shows in ITV. Also like I said earlier, don't think AbhiRa's ss has reduced. And most of Abhinav's scenes are with Akshara and Abhimanyu only. Rest, it is yours and few other people's opinion that there is some creative difference and all that. I don't believe any of that.

But a cameo or even a parallel lead getting more screen space than the main female lead is not just disappointing but disrespecting to the legacy of this show.OG Akshara and Naira were never treated this way.

I waited and waited, today they are airing the 69th episode post leap, when is Akshu's POV shown properly. They butchered Abhimanyu in just 2 episode so that the leap can be bought. His redemption arc started today after 69 episodes. Watching gen 3 from the start i could definetly say that nav is not just glorified, he is an over glorified character, at this point it is starting to get annoying.

There is a reason, why i think Abhinav's monologue is important. It will make a brilliant villain origin story.

Dkp's family drama show is Anupamaa, Rishta used to be,before 7 years.OG Akshara and Naitik stayed together for 8 years with no separation. That was the time Rishta was non- toxic, a heart warming story of familial bond. Then came Karthik and Naira, who made this show a couple based one. Kaira, where the ones to get seperation, marriage, divorce, repeat cycle to motion. Which is still followed by Abhira. Gen 2 was known and remembered for kaira, their romance and chemistry. Will Gen 3 will or not be, only time can tell.Abhira has a huge fd also, where jay is getting the hate.

As far as i see, Abhinav is going to die. But most probably he is going to turn negative. That's the only way out for makers.. And Abhi's redemption arc started. Akshu is going to fall all over again for Abhimanyu because this is yeh rishta kya kehalata hai.

Neil is one of the most hated actor on sm, for various reason.
