If it's the lack of script/plot that is making them call this trash, then I assume most romance novels are trash. (Which some are, infact, they can be beyond trashy) this one doesn't even come close to some really disappointing romance novels I have read. So far, it's doing fine.

And Wahaj has entered the big league with Tere Bin, very well. But then 'elite' content watchers are always going to look down upon both him and Yumna for doing this, am I right?

If Yumna had not done shows like Bakhtawar, DNUTN and Pyaar Ke Sadque or Wahaj had not done JBG and DNUTN before Tere Bin then, yes maybe but these two have proved their metal by doing other kind of shows & characters too. I doubt anyone can question their acting ability now.

It deals with a serious issue of assault.

Which is prevailing in some of the households and the characters were not normal they had some issues so it was a good script according to me . Hatke script apart from saas bahu rona dhona.

You are right. That character gets a bit more hate than needed because the hero opposite her is a good decent man. Shaming her for not falling for someone is just unfair.

I think it's the general hate that most female characters who have good-looking heroes casted opposite them get. But it's also the writing here.
