Exactly, they've put too much time and effort into their relationship for this to just be publicity.
And why would their families get involved? I mean isnt that REALLY stretching it?
And even for publicity, it would only get them bad press in the beginning and they knew that. It was too much to risk for just the sake of publicity. Besides, kareena and saif are big stars. They dont need the publicity. Kareena makes news with whatever she does.
