Wahaj and Yumna on point with all their expressions, I know Murtasim speaks more english but the date is supposed to have this other worldly feel to it like almost something we would see in the west not in a conservative Pak drama so they added the extra flairs. Personally I felt both still in character.

On my first watch, I thought this is a bit too orchestrated for me.

But the second time, their dialogues while sitting made more sense and wasn't just all the cheese I thought it was initially.

They talked about Haya and both of them were loud and clear about their stance. The 'sukoon' dialogue is going to stay with me.

True. Despite being strong headed girl. She has that child like innocence too which she reveals only to the people who are close to her. At initial episodes, her face was full of innocence during her scenes with her parents. Now she is slowly revealing it to murtasim. Recent ghost scene was perfect example. The way she innocently believes him and says 'hey' 😍.

I read few lines of one of the posts about Murtasim saying that she has the calmness on her face even when she is angry then I thought about Meerab and wrote the post.

Yes, she has the child like innocence. In episode 12 and also in the recent episode we can see the innocence when Murtasim was talking about ghosts. And also when she was talking with her friends she was kind of happy. I agree with the writer's view that Meerab is not a badtameez person. She nicely spoke to her parents and friends in the initial episodes. She doesn't like the people of the Haveli so she shows that in the way she talks.

I want to see Meerab and Murtasim having conversations. It will help them to build the emotional bonding. I like the Episode 12 conversation, there they have a conversation like someone said. They put their views. And also in Episode 20 even though it was not a conversation but we saw Murtasim expressing his hurt. I like to see them talk to each other.

She tried to be respectful towards even maa begum, anwar in initial episodes despite knowing them trying to control her. She tolerated when they made murtu gatecrash her birthday party and embarass her infront of her friends. Only after suggestion of marriage proposal she lost her cool.

She was bratty only with murtasim that too because she sees him as a person who had backward thinking and who tries to control her along with his family.

Otherwise she pretty much speaks respectfully with even maids.

He definitely might not have tried to do anything on the first night itself but he would have been much more casual with approaching her physically and would have been more frustrated when she resists his advances.

Watching PAk dramas I have realized that nikah is equal to right to consummate in the ML’s eyes no matter the circumstances of marriage. In fact I don’t if you all saw but when Meerab made Murtasim sign the contract Twitter exploded with this is disrespecting the nikah etc etc

Coming to Meerasim, the way I see it Meerab thought Murtasim was a feudal lord who is regressive and would have taken her against her will if he so wishes. And she just needed the contract to save her for at least a certain period of time. It was also an insult to him- that I don’t really accept you after all and the last bit of control she could have in this situation.

Murtasim reaction would depend on Meerab- he would definitely have approached her- see he started eyeing like a piece of meat from the moment their wedding festivities started - he had this I am going to get lucky with this beauty soon vibe- he was smitten but she had respectfully said I need more time he would have given that to her. But knowing meerab she would have been rude and so would he- there would be a stand off of egos so to speak with him moving back. If you notice he didn’t approach her anyhow physically until after the impromptu hug- where Meerab hugging him and her expressions might have made him believe that she’s also expecting him to exert his marital right and she is not as opposed to him as he thinks. So once that happened he would have pursued her anyway.

Speaking as someone who have had an arranged marriage, the idea of physical intimacy with someone who aren’t in love with, is quite difficult. I have had a wonderfully understanding husband who never asked me to compromise on it and just accept it but he never stopped trying to seduce me either- I think this a discussion that needs more attention than it’s getting by the reviewers who are either hung on it being too explicit or not explicit enough. Nikkah doesn’t equal consent and marital rape is a thing.

Even in MH, Hamza expected Hala to share his bed from day one and seemed frustrated that she was wanting to go back to her room or sleep in the chair. He didn’t exert his marital right but you could sense that he expected her to accept his physical intimacy though their marriage was impromptu as it could be

She was respectful towards Maa Begum but I think she was rude to Anwar. I read about the birthday party incident, I didn't think much about it when I watched the scene. After I read I agree that Murtasim did not have to behave the way he behaved. He could have waited for some time.

I think they asked him to bring her but it was Murtasim who gatecrashed her birthday party.

I am happy about Rohail's re-entry. At least now Meerab will think about her studies.

I personally don't like to see Female Leads getting jealous. She already expressed her concern so now I want her to ignore Haya.
