As soon as he signs the contract, a tear drops from her face.

I saw the episode again she wasn't shocked when he signed the contract and said Qubool Hai. She expected him to sign it. The way she goaded him to sign it, she knew he would sign it. She had a determined look on her face, she only looked grieved tearful after he said she would regret this and would cry over it.

Some times I Wonder if it’s contract or no touch thing that bothers him so much?
wonder if there was no contract what would have been his stance on marriage? Would he have put in same amount of efforts to entice her or simply let her take her time to adjust.

Meerab didn't know him well to think he wouldnt force her into a physical relationship after marriage. Culturally and religious, he automatically has full right over her after becoming her husband. Her consent is non exisiting in this case.

Also it's pretty obvious he has been more attracted towards her from the start than her to him. If anything he would have been more angry if she said no touch on their first night. It would be like pyaase ko kuenje paas aake pata chala paani hi nahi hai🤣. So she beforehand warned him not to get thirsty🤣

I think he'd have still given her time, considering how the circumstances they got married. She would have resisted even then and he wouldn't have forced after she denied him once.

With the contract, she just averted his anger and outburst in their wedding suite. He was prepared that nothing would happen.

Although yes, he would have made bolder advances initially, but with the big ego he carries, her denying him once would lead to him denying her twice. Eventually, they would have been left with silences.

I think murtasim family members questioned her character not murtasim. Jump scene may turn out to be as pool scene where their ego clash. There are chances murtasim himself will prove meerab innocence infront of everyone.

His confidence that she'd tear the contract herself and regret it one day might have shook her. Maybe she knew a marriage between them would lead to something more and at that point, she couldn't allow herself to be weak. In her mind, she was doing this to make this family suffer, but if she is driven to the point where she tears the contract herself, it'd be her loss and Murtasim's win.

@bold we as audience knows it but meerab don't. At that time she only thought the worst of him.

He was under the impression she has accepted him and that's why she agreed to marry him. He definitely might not have tried to do anything on the first night itself but he would have been much more casual with approaching her physically and would have been more frustrated when she resists his advances.

He ate fish despite the allergy to test how she will react. And he was happy when he got positive response. She cares for him enough to take the help of the person who she doesn't consider her father.

Like that he was testing her reactions through his actions every now and then. It's like meerab was intersting mystery which murtasim love to decode.
