In the night dinner date out we finally found out why he loves her so much. He said her eyes show love even when she is angry, her mouth is raging but her eyes are tranquil. In the morning after the fish incidence, when they are having their private breakfast time he is teasing her, she gets pissed off and wishes him dead, horribly wicked thing to say but he looks on affectionately staring at her as if seeing something special in her we don't see. Meerab is a puzzle to others even to herself, but Meerab through Murtasim eyes he has her figured out early on.

That date had some really good moments that didn't get highlighted because most of us focused on the setup more.

But that dialogue actually sums up the reason he is drawn to her. To him, her face reflects peace even in the most chaotic moments of their life and her eyes scream tranquility to him. Maybe that's what he seeks for himself too.

Murtasim isn't wrong though, there is a weird contentment on her face, even when life overturned for her. Her quiet moments in the dargah, her sitting alone in the lawn after the parentage truth was out, then after her mayoon with that flower in her hand. Even in the scenes where she looks down from the balcony after the walima scene. She looks placid in all of them.

I feel that Meerab is a person who is good at heart. She is plain hearted. Most of the times she expresses herself. She tells whatever she feels on the other person's face she doesn't keep anything in heart. And may be it is one of the reasons why she has that calmness on her face. And also in one of the scenes she told Haya that she did not like to fight with Haya. There she had concern for Haya. She is a good person and that reflects on her face.

The date is growing on me. At first you just want to pick out the flaws, but seen it a few times I focus more on the performance and dialogues forget the rest. There is plenty there for analysis and enjoyment I liked the calmness of the whole scene. Wahaj and Yumna on point with all their expressions, I know Murtasim speaks more english but the date is supposed to have this other worldly feel to it like almost something we would see in the west not in a conservative Pak drama so they added the extra flairs. Personally I felt both still in character.

True. Despite being strong headed girl. She has that child like innocence too which she reveals only to the people who are close to her. At initial episodes, her face was full of innocence during her scenes with her parents. Now she is slowly revealing it to murtasim. Recent ghost scene was perfect example. The way she innocently believes him and says 'hey' 😍.

But Mahajabeen and Meerab are innocent characters. Mahajabeen is innocent of life itself, and Meerab sheltered lacking real world life experiences making her innocent.

Credit to Yumna for playing both those characters so well, they have similar qualities but displayed differently.
