Rooting for Cate Blanchett , Angela Bassett and Brendan Fraser. But that Butler guy has high chance 🤢 Best movie probably Banshees or Eeaao

The only category I care about is Angela Bassett winning for Black Panther. She was phenomenal! I know a few people that worked on All that breathes, I hope they stand some kind of chance. I’d like to think it’d be an easy win for Naatu Naatu and the RRR team.

Brendan Fraser will almost certainly win Best Actor - he's clearly on the comeback trail and Hollywood's current prodigal son. But the Brendan who, imho, deserves Best Actor is Gleeson. Too bad he's nominated in the Supporting Category. The Banshees of Inishirin... man, that movie hit me right in the feels.

Everything everywhere - couldn't get into it for some reason.

She was targeted for tax evasion and she pretty much went off the radar following that . There were lots of speculations following her disappearance. Several months later she sort of emerged back but remained low key ( I didn’t keep track of the whole thing but this was what I recall ).
