There is a very big difference between 53 cr and 45 cr (and the former is the result of two independent sources, sacnilk and Taran).

My trust for T-Series Film also keeps within certain limits. If they indeed inflated the costs, then it could be because of taxes as well as to launder money...

Is Alia still in Kashmir (for the song)?

BOI was the Bible for some when it came to Box office figures.....but it never sticks to his numbers or status it gives to the movies......It changes the numbers and status even after 2 years...how and why??? HNY's opening day numbers of 40 cr were changed to 36 cr months after....when Dhoom 3 released......CDI's blockbuster status was changed to I think a Hit after years.......

I am not crazy to despise BOI ....I have seen what it does to the numbers......that is the reason I say that BOI has lost its credibility......also when I ask the BOI lovers the questions ....all I hear is abba,dabba jabba......😆

RAR needs to do well.....especially for Veeru.....he is a good actor......too many movies not working in a row demoralizes them......especially good movies like 83.....I have seen that happen to SRK....wouldn't want it for any other good actor...😭

No, not "everybody"... there were even analysts that stopped to report numbers out of protest...

Personally I lost any interest in whatever numbers were written...I watched the movie twice in a theatre and then - in parts - OTT...that was it.

I'm even one of those who have stopped to believe in part 2 and even less in part 3...

I mean, Brahmastra budget being anywhere between 300-600 Cr makes sense. It is probably the most VFX intensive Bollywood film ever and was shot for over half a decade. But how would you even spend 200 cr on this? Tamasha was made in 45 Cr (Net of the 45 Cr actor salaries) and YJHD's total budget was only 40 Cr. And this definitely looks cheaper than that. Did they pay Ranbir and Luv 75 Cr each or something? 🤓

200cr budget 🤪.....flop written all over it. 🤣

I want to stress what BI wrote more than once: Don't trust the numbers of BOI-site blindly (nor their verdicts).

They fudge numbers or change them - especially budget numbers which they increase to be able to give a less favorable verdict...but they also change first week or total nett India numbers or bring lower numbers as websites like sacnilk (whose budget numbers correspond with official sources and whose boxoffice numbers correspond with other professional analysts' results).I could bring examples if demanded.

Until now I did not find an official affirmation of a 200 cr budget for TJMM...

Edit: in the other thread (about the budget), on page 1, there is a tiny excerpt of an interview with the producer...I was told that he mentions the budget of 200 cr...
