Quick Review 12th March: Haath Se Khilaana, Charity Dena!

Sigh...

So all of my OG watchers have resigned to the fact that these people are following the OG word by word. But I do have to appreciate the fact that the zabardasti khaana khilana part was carried out much better than it was in the OG, where it was blood-boiling.

I don't have any witty comment to make about the episode because it's going grim right now and everyone's in a depressed or angry mode.

But I think one point worth mentioning is that finally... FINALLY... the show is free of Santu-Sindy khaand duo having all the screen time in the world, and finally it's about Angad and Sahiba. Best part, we did not get one scene with Seerat today!

My week started off good, yay!

Moving on...

There is this saying no? Chinti ko par nikal aana? That's what I witnessed with Hansraj today. This dude who did not have more than two dialogues in the entire 68 episodes of the show suddenly walked in like some sadakchaap gunda and started taunting the leading lady of the show????? THE AUDACITY I tell you!

And they start with clothes and standards and what not! Jeez, I personally don't think anyone with real standard will say all these sort of things.

Also, does anyone really think that this girl needs expensive stuff to look classy?

This girl? Who already looks like a f*cking goddess?

And what was that comparison going on between Seerat and Sahiba?

So these idiots are seriously implying that they would choose that lying runaway Seerat over the honest brave Sahiba just because Seerat supposedly looks better?

I thought they were looking for a life partner for Angad. But it seems now, what they really wanted was a showpiece to keep next to all his other trophies!

Anyway, I think Santosh took too long to finally start showing her love and realize her mistake. From what I see it, she only cares about Sahiba now that she is rich. I don't care if it is the truth of not. Imma see it that way because I don't want my anger to go down even a notch for that golddigger lady.

you are right they need a decked up doll as the bahu or as Angad’s wife. Not a woman with morals. Even if a decked up doll steals, cheats or roams with multiple men no issue but bahu toh decked up Hona chahiye.
coming to santhu the less said much better. She always pampered her beauty queen and treated other two daughters as her servants. Now her beauty queen ran away causing her embarrassment and the other two devoted daughters don’t even want to talk with her.

Mai toh pehle hi boli thi they were looking a show piece because they are Orthodox people.

The only good that came out of the show was Gurleen finally coming out and taking a stand for asahiba. She shut up Hansraj, Prabjyot and Jasleen along with Angad.

The Brar sisters are freeloaders and are on the edge this is limited time. I do want to see Hansraj’s reactions when Garry is caught. May be he will make fun. of Jasleen.

I want Sahiba to ask them the what kind of class is this to run away with your cousin’s fiancée on the wedding day?

I don’t know when Manveer will get some common sense……

Thanks for the tag Shiva. I will watch the episode later but i am not much convinced with all these drama elemenst. I mean the taunts feel so contrived and added just for the drama and not as story's demand. Only manbeer and angad's taunts can be explained per story baaki to ye log kaun hai kyun taunts kar rahe it just feels filler

I know. and agar taunt karna hi hai toh why compare Seerat and Sahiba? Seerat doesn't come anywhere near Sahiba and yet they somehow keep her on a pedestal and make Sahiba listen to all their nonsense.

I swear. Matlab they could have modified it a bit to show them having a bit of intellect. Why they want us to believe the brars' are so dumb in one case but the most successful jewellers in another case is beyond me.

Well technically speaking, only Veer, Angad and Jaspal run the business. Angad is blinded in his anger and spewing nonsense. But Jaspal and Veer are showing their class. If the other clowns were involved, the business would have sunken long time ago.

Hansraj suddenly started having dialogues because in the Bengali show at this point in the storyline his character actually made entry 😅 He wasn't there since the beginning. He was caught up in some business or stuffs and couldn't attend the wedding and made entry the next day and that was his reaction after seeing the heroine for the first time. He was actually confused because till that point he had heard about Seerat's beauty a lot and was confused seeing Sahiba and there he was kind of like this useless joker fellow who keeps saying stuffs without thinking it through. But here in TMD they are showing him at Brar mansion from beginning and he knows everything that happened so him saying those stuffs made him come across as real jerk 😐 Not every dialogue of every character they need to copy 😒

I skipped a lot of OG so I didn't know what happened there, but I am aware of the existence of this clown fellow.

But the thing is, there he even looks like a clown fellow but here, the way he looked at her and said "Oh ji!!" was borderline disgusting and creepy AF. Made him look like a sleaze!
