Does anyone else also feel that this drama has few similarities with Fitoor drama?

Male Lead being sympathetic towards his cousin. Female Lead having concern about Male Lead and his cousin. Parallel Lead comes when Female Lead is finally settling in her life.

In Fitoor,
ML had a romantic history with his cousin and she was one who leaves him and he holds a candle for her for long time.

FL and Parallel Lead were in love with each other, they were star crossed lovers who fell prey to their parents will.

The cousin had more connect with ML given their past.

Bro, Meerub was calling Rohail ? Why?? Why not Saba? I don’t think Rohail’s claim is baseless, Meerub’s some actions might have indicated it to Rohail, I know he head read too much into it, but something is missing or May be they will show it in flash back.

We have discussed too much of Anwar and W/A angle so not going there, almost half the episodes revolves around them.

I have one more theory on their marriage, in episode 4 I was sure that Meerub did all the drama of Qabool nahi hai for the revenge and in this episode she found the perfect way, when Murtasim Said Tum mere ghar chalo she knew what she had to do, before this scene she said that I don’t need your support with a special emphasis on especially yours, then she said she knew he would bring her back, that means he will take full responsibility. And the perfect idea of her revenge was her marriage with him, he is a controlling man, and Meerub never gave him the satisfaction that he has control over her can you imagine the pain/desperation of that person whose power was control and now he is helpless, Meerub was emotionally hurt, and acc to her only one person was responsible for this and she targeted his emotions to hurt him (are we really heading towards kya hoti hai bewafai sequence)

And for those who said Murtasim felt in love with her when he saw her praying that’s BS, I feel for the first time in last 6 episodes he was able to empathise with her, he knew how it feels to loose your identity, how it feels to be so helpless, he knew the pain because he himself has felt that.

She was calling ruhail oh I missed it I guess neans she comsiders him more close friend than saba if not more as when we want to discuss somethimg with friemd we start to call them according to our priority list whom we consider more close is called first...

And yes she maynot have felt something for him but she knew his liking and writer also.said that one factor was also that meerab had someone who likes her and according to meerab maybe there can be something between them in future if not now,so yeah I ignored it when she said that but I guess it is something which she considered while writing meerab's character.

So it can happen that meerab will discuss this condition thing with ruhail....🙄

From the views I read and also from the writer's interview, I feel that Meerab thinks that Murtasim is responsible for this marriage. We, as viewers know that Murtasim said No to the marriage. But Meerab did not know. Because when Meerab asked Murtasim to say No to the marriage he said that why should he say No. So she was thinking that he didn't say No to the marriage and she was the only one who tried her best to stop the marriage. And because she was saying No to this marriage they revealed her birth truth. So she was thinking that this marriage was the root cause of all her problems. If he had said No to the marriage then she wouldn't have gotten married to him and also she wouldn't have gotten to know her birth truth. May be she was thinking that to make her agree to the marriage they revealed her birth truth.

Guys, I have one more theory. I know that the OST is not baseless, they will show something and we all are thinking that it is Meerub who is going to take revenge but what if it is Murtasim, I mean if itv has taught me one thing then it is that the most innocent one is the most harmful person, they have shown Murtu too good to be true and sometimes this much sweetness is used to hide the bitter reality.

What do you all think about this??

I didn't understand why meerab blame Murtasim for her situation....her life is not turned upside down because of Murtasim it is because of her parents...they don't have enough courage to protect meerab ....when they knew the whole situation why the hell they hide the truth from meerab because for sure they were treating meerab as anwer and khan family s Amanat not their own daughter.

In fact in this scenario when no one support and care about meerab it was only Murtasim who supported her....even assure her that there is no need of this marriage ...he will find out some way and figure out the solution for this problem. Yet meerab is hell bent on revenge from Murtasim 😲

Writer explained it...

She said that meerab thinks if murtasim had denied for marriage at first than this all would not have happened like this all would continue to be same and maybe she would not have known ttuth so she holds him accountable for truth coming out.

I have seen this in Madhubala, where RK suddenly says that it was his revenge plan after consummation. This same story happened in some other shows as well.

But I hope that this is not d case here. That would just degrade murtu's character 😭😭😭

According yumna's IV, she said only Murtasim is not a grey character.

Yes, this is what I got from the writer’s IV. I was always confused about that point - I think choppy scene editing and direction caused this confusion. However the writer’s statement on Meerub’s perspective of the marriage clarifies it for me. ( They really could have done a better job of this, frankly. If many of us were this confused, something was lacking.)
