Murtasim was so angry when he came in front of Meerub, he tried to stop her but Meerub pushed him, he told her to not go anywhere but she said Mai Jaaungi or Tumhare mein par thappad Maar kar jaaungi, then she pushed him for 4 times, calls him Baghairat and told him men like him are those prefers to hide behind a woman and then Murtu slapped her.

This was the background and don’t come after me as I am not going to justify the situation but just for a second place Murtasim in Meerub’s place, if it was him who have called her a characterless and be physical with her by pushing her with so much force, what would have been her reaction??

Why are we so hypocritical in the name of feminism?? Just reversed the situation and you all would find what’s wrong in Meerub’s action? One would call out a man if he pushes a women so hard that there are chances she would fall on the floor, and then he is calling her characterless then everyone is going to cry it is abuse, and if in this case that woman would slap her abuser we are going to be so so happy??

Other than this scenes, the episode is filled with guilt and pain only, Anwar is guilty for giving Meerub up, Murtasim is guilty for slapping her, Meerub and WA are feeling pain on their loss.

I agree that meerab said hurtful words to murtasim.

But what I don't understand is why did murtasim try to stop her? It's not like he was trying to stop her for her sake or anything. It looked like he was stopping her only for ego sake.

And he ORDERED her to stop. Meerab who was going through mental trauma directed all her anger towards him.

Meerab bruised his ego badly by saying things like coward. So he reacted.

But still the way he reacted is wrong. Him ordering her to stop is the root cause of all in that scene.

I can't say pushing is equal to slapping. Because murtasim also drags her whenever he wants. They both equally push, drag each other. So slap is different thing.

She can say whatever she wants , she can insult ppl at the drop of a hat , but others can’t retaliate ? What kind of a justification wld that be ?

I won't support the words meerab said to murtasim.

But why meerab said those words to murtasim? Because he was ordering her to stop.

Why should she listen to his orders? She said leave me 2/3 times still he was pressuring her to stop.

Even if the roles are reversed, slap won't be justified. Because meerab didn't go to murtasim to slap him. He came in her way in her worst phase.

Both are wrong. Murtasim doesn't know what she was going through, meerab doesn't realise she was blaming wrong person.

But I feel murtasim ego to stop her lead to all these.

If he had good intentions behind stopping her except his ego then I will take my word back.

I think it is not about being hypocritical in the name of feminism. Meerab heard something so devastating and running away. Anybody can see her condition and understand that something happened. And here comes Murtasim, he is already angry I don't know why. And on the other side Meerab was crying. When he tried to stop her first time she said the things which were reasonable from her side and she didn't do any badtameezi and the next time time he stopped her then she said few things and pushed him few times which is definitely wrong but here she was not in her senses. She was overwhelmed by emotions. She didn't slap him. But he was the one who slapped her and it was not at all needed. And the slap was not like he slapped her unknowingly. He used his strength before slapping her and gave her a very hard slap. And that too he slapped her outside their house. In the house full of house help, I feel some of the house help also must have witessed the slap. From whatever I understood she didn't call him characterless, she used the word in the context that he didn't have the courage to say No to the marriage in front of all, she shouldn't have used the word.

If we reverse the situation I don't think any girl would try to stop a guy who is crying and going away. And Male and Female are different. And the strengths are different. I am not at all saying that it is okay for a girl to push a guy or slap a guy. And generally violence against women is so common so if they show a guy who is a hero slapping a girl who is the heroine and then them falling in love then it is like normalizing the slap. And people watching it will think of it as a normal thing happening.

Episode 6

Bro, Meerub was calling Rohail ? Why?? Why not Saba? I don’t think Rohail’s claim is baseless, Meerub’s some actions might have indicated it to Rohail, I know he head read too much into it, but something is missing or May be they will show it in flash back.

We have discussed too much of Anwar and W/A angle so not going there, almost half the episodes revolves around them.

I have one more theory on their marriage, in episode 4 I was sure that Meerub did all the drama of Qabool nahi hai for the revenge and in this episode she found the perfect way, when Murtasim Said Tum mere ghar chalo she knew what she had to do, before this scene she said that I don’t need your support with a special emphasis on especially yours, then she said she knew he would bring her back, that means he will take full responsibility. And the perfect idea of her revenge was her marriage with him, he is a controlling man, and Meerub never gave him the satisfaction that he has control over her can you imagine the pain/desperation of that person whose power was control and now he is helpless, Meerub was emotionally hurt, and acc to her only one person was responsible for this and she targeted his emotions to hurt him (are we really heading towards kya hoti hai bewafai sequence)

And for those who said Murtasim felt in love with her when he saw her praying that’s BS, I feel for the first time in last 6 episodes he was able to empathise with her, he knew how it feels to loose your identity, how it feels to be so helpless, he knew the pain because he himself has felt that.

That’s what I said, he was already in anger when he met her, they didn’t show that must have edited one or two scenes which could have been a great help in understanding that.

I agree aise koi hint zaroor diye honge, agar nahi diye hote toh he would have not gone totally crazy over her. Itni jooniniyat kahi na kahi se toh aayi hogi😔😕

Yes I think meerub's target was murtasim and that is how she was planning the revenge because she knows ki murtu se revenge lena matlab sabko chot pohchana and she can get satisfaction then only. Ye hi prove karne ke chakkar mai she did nikaah . But who knew she'll fall in love .
