You are standing and I come out of nowhere and slaps you this simply makes a bad, a very bad person, but when you instigates me and then I slap you, I agree it would make me a bad person but not a hateful person like in fist situation I would be. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, there is no one way that someone is wholly wrong and other one is a saint, you can’t see every situation as it is, let me tell you an incident I was visiting Haridwar and at that time there was less bathrooms on the ghaat so many women changed on the ghaat by hiding behind a cloth or a barricade and one person took their photos so someone saw him and slapped him, I felt so angry on the person who slapped that man but this was until I did not know what led to that on the outer surface the one who slapped was wrong but when we saw the situation clearly it was some thing else. This world is not a math equation which works on a simple formula, there are many things which derives it but when we see it with only a single view we are wrong, ethics may have universal values but morals depends on the person and society.

That line is about slapping during an argument between a man and a woman and not during a criminal activity. The guy secretly taking pic of women in compromising position is a criminal offense. Taking pictures without a permission itself is illegal and to take when women are changing clothes is a criminal activity. The one slapped the photographer didn't slap him because his ego was hurt, he slapped because he had a sense of justice and couldn't stand wrong doing. Murtasim slapped meerab because she hurt his ego. Not the same scenario.

Every people in a relationship argues and fights with each other and says extremely hurtful things to each other when their temper is at the maximum but only few people end up slapping the other or in a physical altercation. The extend of which the fight goes is the factor that decides whether the relationship is toxic or not.

Meerab never had any intention to provoke murtu out of the blue. He was forcing her to listen to him when she was in her most vulnerable moment. He wasn't showing any sort of respect to her condition. For a guy that has seen meerab since childhood should know she isn't someone that will cry her eyes out for a simple reason. If he was worried for her then he could have simply followed her and made sure she was okay. This reminds me of aik sitam aur where the FL went through a very similar situation and she screamed at her mother and then went out. The ml instead of forcefully stopping her went after her to make sure she is fine. He just kept his distance and let her cry her eyes out. He didn't even know her since childhood. In that drama also that was the point the ml started having feelings for the fl. He was equally short tempered as murtu and the female lead always insulted like meerab and on occasions more than meerab. He got angry to the point he kicked her out of the house but never raised his hands on her. So it's more than easy to show a macho angry young man with anger issues without showing him slapping women esp in a society where violence against women is a social menace.

We have discussed too much of Anwar and W/A angle so not going there, almost half the episodes revolves around them.

I have one more theory on their marriage, in episode 4 I was sure that Meerub did all the drama of Qabool nahi hai for the revenge and in this episode she found the perfect way, when Murtasim Said Tum mere ghar chalo she knew what she had to do, before this scene she said that I don’t need your support with a special emphasis on especially yours, then she said she knew he would bring her back, that means he will take full responsibility. And the perfect idea of her revenge was her marriage with him, he is a controlling man, and Meerub never gave him the satisfaction that he has control over her can you imagine the pain/desperation of that person whose power was control and now he is helpless, Meerub was emotionally hurt, and acc to her only one person was responsible for this and she targeted his emotions to hurt him (are we really heading towards kya hoti hai bewafai sequence)

And for those who said Murtasim felt in love with her when he saw her praying that’s BS, I feel for the first time in last 6 episodes he was able to empathise with her, he knew how it feels to loose your identity, how it feels to be so helpless, he knew the pain because he himself has felt that.

@orange: I say 50-50. She might not have had a plan and was genuinely surprised when Murtasim said meri ghar chalo whereas her foster parents didnt even budge. Back in the haveli, MB questioned her, she suddenly agreed to marry as she thought she had no way out. So revenge plan starts from that point.

If indeed it was her plan from d time she asked Murtasim to take her to Karachi, then I must say the lyrics of ost makes sense. The conversation between meerasim is when we find out that it was her revenge plan.

I am not talking about scenarios here, I am simply talking about our views, what we see is not always correct was my point. We can’t talk about black and white and now you yourself said that situation and intention matters and that was my point
