I think it is not about being hypocritical in the name of feminism. Meerab heard something so devastating and running away. Anybody can see her condition and understand that something happened. And here comes Murtasim, he is already angry I don't know why. And on the other side Meerab was crying. When he tried to stop her first time she said the things which were reasonable from her side and she didn't do any badtameezi and the next time time he stopped her then she said few things and pushed him few times which is definitely wrong but here she was not in her senses. In the house full of house help, I feel some of the house help also must have witessed the slap. From whatever I understood she didn't call him characterless, she used the word in the context that he didn't have the courage to say No to the marriage in front of all, she shouldn't have used the word.

If we reverse the situation I don't think any girl would try to stop a guy who is crying and going away. And Male and Female are different. And the strengths are different. I am not at all saying that it is okay for a girl to push a guy or slap a guy. And generally violence against women is so common so if they show a guy who is a hero slapping a girl who is the heroine and then them falling in love then it is like normalizing the slap. And people watching it will think of it as a normal thing happening.

Bro, Meerub was calling Rohail ? Why?? Why not Saba? I don’t think Rohail’s claim is baseless, Meerub’s some actions might have indicated it to Rohail, I know he head read too much into it, but something is missing or May be they will show it in flash back.

We have discussed too much of Anwar and W/A angle so not going there, almost half the episodes revolves around them.

I have one more theory on their marriage, in episode 4 I was sure that Meerub did all the drama of Qabool nahi hai for the revenge and in this episode she found the perfect way, when Murtasim Said Tum mere ghar chalo she knew what she had to do, before this scene she said that I don’t need your support with a special emphasis on especially yours, then she said she knew he would bring her back, that means he will take full responsibility. And the perfect idea of her revenge was her marriage with him, he is a controlling man, and Meerub never gave him the satisfaction that he has control over her can you imagine the pain/desperation of that person whose power was control and now he is helpless, Meerub was emotionally hurt, and acc to her only one person was responsible for this and she targeted his emotions to hurt him (are we really heading towards kya hoti hai bewafai sequence)

And for those who said Murtasim felt in love with her when he saw her praying that’s BS, I feel for the first time in last 6 episodes he was able to empathise with her, he knew how it feels to loose your identity, how it feels to be so helpless, he knew the pain because he himself has felt that.

I am biased towards Meerab. Meerab did not accuse him of having an affair if I remember it correctly. Her questions are valid. He clearly knows that Haya has feelings for him and also tried to commit suicide. When Meerab came with the food she saw that Haya was about to feed Murtasim. Her behaviour is understandable. Yes, I agree I took it as a normal scene when she pushed him on the bed. I was watching SH review then Hassan said that they generally talk when a man slaps a woman because it is happening and also the violence is quite common so they raise their voice when the situation happens where a guy slaps a girl and strongly condemn it. In the same way when we see a guy slapping a girl we immediately react. No. I think people would have reacted if Meerab slapped Murtasim. We would stop when we see someone from our family crying like that. I agree. I gave a general statement. It should have been like Meerab wouldn't have stopped Murtasim if he was going like that.

And the main thing is that till now Murtasim never apologized to Meerab for the slap whole-heartedly.

He reacted how a friend would react if he saw someone dragging his friend without her consent.

In the same situation, meerab would have got called names had she did what murtasim did.

Same way we call murtasim flirting hot, had meerab made physical advances towards murtasim despite him saying he doesn't like her, she would have been called names like desperate.

A slap is just plain bad. There is no less bad or more bad.

It wasn't like meerab was feeling like screaming, she searched for murtu, saw him and started firing her anger for her parents and Anwar towards him.

She was crying and going to somewhere to be alone when murtu Maharaj thought it's his birth right to hold her wrist and stop her against her wishes. She asked 2-3 times to leave her alone but he didn't. So she finally lost it and screamed at him and he slapped her. He started it.

Murtasim slapped meerab because she instigated it, murtasim ended up crashing his car with his rash driving putting his and meerab's life in danger because meerab disrespected him. It's never because a grown adult cannot handle his anger management issues or his gigantic ego.

There can be 10 other scenarios to make murtu start having feelings for her. The makers just wanted a shock value scene that will create a buzz and they just keep justifying it. They literally romanticized physical abuse and is going around justifying it simply because they lack creativity.

Women have emotional breakdown every now and then, does that mean any guy can come and slap her across the face with a force that ends up loosing her consciousness? At that time murtu had no right to even stop her forget slap her.

If acting out deserves a slap meerab had every right to slap murtu for his behaviour at her birthday party. He entered her party and created a scene just to flex his machoism. The girl was at her own bday party celebrating with a bunch of her friends in an open area. He had zero reason to lash out at her like that and create an entire scene. That entire scene was just to show how macho murti is and nothing more because apparently the laziest way to show a male characters is alpha is to show him throwing temper tantrums for the smallest thing.
